el presidente esta aqui

I was watching and listening to some -si, se puede- from Denver.

I've been out of the state for between one and two weeks this month.

Sometimes I get busier this time of year, however, if you checked out post #8 I suggested that Marilyn Quayle could be a running mate for McCain.

Swiftee, don't take the billy club off the table. Leave it there for negotiations.

I think it's TPaw for VP. He makes the most sense. He can appeal to conservatives and regular folks who don't even know what party they are. And in MN, he should get the Independents. But really, he is a VP nominee, take away the debate and they don't mean a whole lot. TPaw isn't going to hurt, he could only help. Hopefully we can find somebody to take his place as Gov. But I think him being on the ticket is good for Norm and good for House Republican candidates in MN. Thank God!

Oh, by the way, where is El Presidente? He must have read his own posts and jumped off a bridge.

A conservative woman is the best choice. Choosing a woman would be the kick in the head that Obama-messiah could not recover from.

Pawlenty is an opportunist and loser.

This will be McCain's first test of intelligence. This is a golden opportunity for McCain and the Republicans. Let's hope he doesn't blow it.

You don't get to represent The Grand Duchy Of DuPont by bein' a liberal.

Nice try, though.

# PlymouthDem Says:
August 28th, 2008 at 3:47 pm

“Meg Whitman”

Would be a disaster for McCain. She ran HP into the ground.

Whitman headed up EBAY. It was Carly Fiorina who headed up HP and she was back stabbed by a bunch of male chauvinist pigs.

I am really hoping he chooses Gov. Mitt Romney. Mitt proved himself to be a true patriot. He has been fully vetted and would make a very solid and faithful running mate. I would love to see a debate with Biden and Mitt Romney. Mitt would totally destroy that wishy washy, exaggerate everything, liberal.

intrade now has pawlenty at 80% to be v.p. choice. also seems someone from mccain camp has told redstate that it is likely.

guess we will be without a governor for a couple of months, maybe years.

on related subject, did you see mccain's ad complimenting bho? for some reason bho is mad as hell. beats me why?

"Run down the education system in Mn." I see- About 50% of the state budget goes to education, and they get more money every year, including under T.Paw. And that`s what you call "run down"? What an idiot. "Let the rich get richer." No, the Gov doesn`t "let" them get richer, they do it on their own, thru hard work. And lower taxes gives everybody the chance to get richer, instead of taking from one class to give to another. And define "rich".

That would be great to get Governor No out of the state, after he's run down the education system in MN, left us with a huge budget deficit, let the rich get richer, and let a bridge fall down and kill people under his watch, but how in the hell would Carol Molnau run the state, she couldn't even run the Dept. of Transportation!

Let me see if I got this straight - "D" and "Swiftee" talk about macing and beating Tommy with a billy-club, but the rightwingers want to ban Tommy when he retaliates?

The party started the downward spiral when the rightwingers changed the name and focus from "Independent-Republican Party" to "Republican Party of Minnesota"; and "D" and "Swiftee" and Chestnut and ansel continue to demonstrate why the party is in the toilet.

There is no one McCain can pick that will get moderates and independents to align with today's GOP.

It's very interesting really. Since Gore failed in his attempt to steal the election in 2000, Democrats have grown more shockingly violent and angry. At the same time, the political spectrum in the country has grown even more divisive. Democrats have exploited that division to undermine our economy and our national security.

In the meantime, the majority of Americans are demanding more a moderate/centrist approach to the country's problems.

In answer, Democrats sent forward an extremist liberal candidate with strong ties to proud domestic terrorists, and who further promises to undermine our economy and national security.

Obama has never gone against the grain of his party. And he has NEVER brought any opposing sides together to accomplish anything. He even tapped an equal ego-maniac with an equally hard Leftist track record for his VP.

On the other side, Republicans are nominating John McCain, and honorable man of the highest integrity. He is inspired by those with the greatest character, and he inspires others to greater character. He has given his life to service for his country. Fully experienced in the broad range of foreign and domestic policies, John McCain has bucked his party more often than most members are comfortable with. He has a long, established track record reaching across party lines to accomplish great things.

My guess is McCain will, consistent with his track record, pick a non-polarizing running mate. He will head the Center-Right ticket in a Center-Right country.

The country is asking for John McCain. But Barak Obama has a pretty bow on his head. We'll probably end up with what's behind door number 2.

How sad.

Pawlenty.

And, I'd love to see Governor Molnau bitch-slap Sandy Pappas for her rotten, mean lib mouth. I laughed today when I read how incensed Pappas got! Nothing funnier than a fuming lib that hasn't gotten their way.

Upon further reflection, I think that T-Paw cleared his Friday schedule to create media buzz and deflect from BHO's night. Doesn't mean a thing at this point until we have more of a determination.

Meanwhile, Politico is reporting that Secret Service has been at Romney's sister's house.

Dash, engaging Cheeto boy is a losing proposition. The guy is a waste of flesh, and every response he recieves just encourages him to wank himself that much harder.

If we ignore him long enough, he'll give up and spend all day at the NAMBLA site.

Flounder,

Looks like you've been outed. Every single day you post gay references about men and little boys. It's quite obvious you have a fixation when it comes to members of the same sex.

I guess you were confused when you thought Minnesota Democrats Exposed was the place to come out of the closet, and took the name literally.

I'm sure there are plenty of blogs where you can fulfill your obvious fantasies and hang out with other deranged Democrats.

Happy hunting Flounder!

He's definitely not qualified for A.G or Sec. of Energy. Maybe Sec. of Commerce.

Rudy = A.G.
Bolton = Sec. State
Joe L = Sec. Def.

Forget Lieberman. He's a decent guy, but as has been noted here already, he's pro-abortion...that is a non-starter for McCain as well as a majority of mainstream Republicans.

I'm still thinking Romney, but as I said, I'd love to watch a Molnau administration in action!

My heart says it should be Tim Pawlenty and my brain says it should be Kay Bailey Hutchison. Think of the female vote after Hillary got 'dissed by Obama. Pawlenty will serve in the administration. The only question is what: Chief of Staff, Attorney General, Secretary of Energy or Secretary of Commerce.

"Mitt just opens the door to Republicans to suffer from the same voter discrimination Obama likely will face"

What he may face is nothing like what he did face from the racists in the Democrat primary.

"T-Paw just opens McCain up to the inexperience attack he’s trying to level on Obama"

How so? Pawlenty served in the Minnesota legislature about 900 percent longer than Obama did in the Illinois legislature... moreover, he voted other than "present" on bills. Next, Pawlently has been a damned good governor for five years... versus Obama, who was barely a Senator for 100 days.

Pawlenty is a seasoned leader. Obama is less than a pledge.

PlymouthDem just bested her/himself for stupidity.

I think either Romney or Pawlenty would be a good choice. If Romney were chosen and they brought up the fact he is a Mormon, It would open up the discussion of B. Hussein Obama being a Muslim.
If Tim Pawlenty were chosen Carol Molnau could arm wrestle the Democrat low-life in the state house and senate for decisions.

there is one thing i have to hand to pawlenty. he is loyal. when things looked like mccain was dead in the primaries, he continued to work for him. i thought he was wasting him time. i do admire him for facing long odds and, assuming he is nominated for v.p., probably facing an uphill battle to win. but at least we know what he is made of--he doesn't give up.

How bout McCain picking a "hateful" candidate like Franken? Whoops, that's right Frankenstein is a democrat. Palin or Meg Whitman the former head of Ebay would cinch it for McCain. My heart tells me it will be Romney.

I can't wait to see the "Foul-mouthed" Sandy Pappas and Larry Pogemiller on election night with Vice President-elect Pawlenty should he be picked.

Talked to Norm C. when he was in town the other day, he felt Tim P. had the nod. McCain will not pick VP that is pro-choice.

Yep. With DFL super majorities in BOTH houses after November, Molnau will have so much power to throw around. I mean, her job approval rating in this state is nearing the congressional low-water mark.

The only way she could save her reputation is to assume power and immediately resign.

Then we would have super majorities and James Metzen at the wheel in the governor's office.

(I know, I teed that one up for y'all. Consider it my little gift to you).

are you guys on drugs? pawlenty (not my first choice either), but he has overseen a state with $35B budget, 10,000+ employees, versus obama overseeing a 10 person social services office.

the best thing should pawlenty be the v.p. pick and should they win, is that carol molnau would be the governor and ready for some "payback" to those dipster dfl legislators.
