I thought the partying was going to be toned down due to Gustaf.

Yes, but this is the liberal media celebrating. What else would you expect from them?????????????
August 30th, 2008 at 9:48 pm
Yes, because what goes on in Minneapolis will have a direct effect on reducing the severity of this impending hurricane.
What nonsense. I suppose we’ll be seeing pictures of all these unfortunate people who just couldn’t get out of town before this hurricane that we’ve known about for a week makes land. Or maybe they don’t get the news in New Orleans.

If this was the Democrat convention, we would be seeing round the clock coverage of how evil George Bush caused the hurricane.
There would be “victims” galore and libs whining about how their lear jets were stranded at MSP with no hope of flying for weeks because FEMA didn’t do enough for them.
I hope Gustaf doesn’t hit New Orleans. I didnt’ appreciate my tax dollars paying for strip clubs, booze, and drugs after Katrina. How many years has it been now, and people are still milking that one for all it’s worth?

Sure it was Aaron…sure it was.

Whoa! Blaming the victims in New Orleans, how terribly Repugnican. You guys might want to consider some lessons in empathy (or tap into those “family values” you’re always going off about). Given the sorry-ass response your boy W made to the Katrina disaster one might hope for a little humility, but true to form you soldier on, selfish and belligerent to the end……and the end of your rein is near!

Typical ignorant liberal bogus history. The idiot mayor of that city, along with the slow-minded former Governor of that state did absolutely nothing for New Orleans. Where’s the blame for them? FEMA is a last line of defense, not the first line. The locals and state idiots failed their people and get off scot-free for one reason and one reason alone: ignorant liberal politics.

What the hell does that slogan even MEAN? A party you won’t forget IN A PLACE THAT’S MORE TO LIFE?

I had a fantastic time at the media party as well. I’m volunteering for CNN during the convention so I got credentials to get in. If free booze and free food is what getting to be involved in politics means, then sign me up.
