Congratulations. You have now identified the inherent weakness in Michael Brodkorb Inc.

He is a great opposition research guy, and he does a magnificent job of parroting the party line on any number of issues. But if you stray from the thoughts and ideas that the party has previously articulated, his ability to form independent, rational thought is terribly retarded. His refusal to say anything not pre-approved by the party is what causes him to frequently get backed into the corner and respond with name calling.

Michael is a good pipeline for what the republicans want you to hear, but there is a reason why he is not used by the traditional media here as more of a resource. He can’t share his opinion without referring to his notes (which all happen to come on elephant-lined letterhead).

Michael, I was disappointed in your Narn appearance yesterday. Defending the decisions made to alter RNC events due to the hurricane could have been easily done without resorting to the name-calling and personal defensiveness that I heard. You were already making a fabulous case and I supported your views. I understand that it would be challenging to be put on the spot by hearing Chad’s comments for the first time live on air. But this is something I thought you would have been able to handle with professionalism. It’s done on the Sunday news shows every week and most guests are able to recognize and separate the debate over issues from personal attacks. Even though I side with you on the RNC decisions, Chad had valid points which he expressed in a professional manner. I cringed at your response and your personal defensiveness. Calling Chad a moron and an idiot caused you to lose credibility. Interpreting his argument as jabbing and insulting you resulted in you coming across as defensive, immature, arrogant and unprofessional to listeners of the show. I support your cause and am disappointed that the way you handled yourself on the show may result in some people losing respect for you. I strongly feel that you could regain that respect if you made amends either on air or through your site and/or Narn’s.
