MINNESOTA BUZZING WITH NEWS OF MCCAIN-PALIN RALLY

    By Michael B. Brodkorb | September 15, 2008

According to multiple sources (picture from source), McCain campaign offices around the state were inundated with requests for tickets to the rally with Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Pain scheduled for this Friday in Blaine.   After an e-mail went out to supporters around 11 a.m., approximately 1,000 tickets were reserved every hour throughout the day.  Click here to RSVP for the rally on Friday.

Yeah. When he beats Obama’s crowd which filled the X and had another two miles of people waiting in line to get in, then you should get back to me.

Why do the whiney libs all sound alike on this site?

The mentality of, “Yeah, well my dad can beat up your dad”, is so idiotic, it doesn’t deserve a response.

They all remind me of spoiled little kids that need some discipline. I guess that type of behavior is fostered by the Democrat Party with their “life isn’t fair, and you deserve more of your fair share” attitude.

Come back with your ball, Leroy! Come back!

Hey Leroy, I would love to see how many people Joe B-biden would attract in a rally, otherwise known as the guy who no one remembers is running on a national ticket, kind of like his stature in the primaries.

Slo Joe “Plugs” Biden can’t even get reporters to join him on his private jet. The news is reporting his plane is flying 3/4 empty!

That’s great that the MN Republicans are going to be visited by Mrs. Pain. You all deserve it.

      Mrs. Pain?

Yes, she is Mrs. Pain to the Democrats and especially to the Media.

    9. Will the McCain Campaign Lie About the Crowd at Their Friday Rally in Blaine? | MNpublius.com Says:
      September 16th, 2008 at 9:17 am

[...] Michael Brodkorb has a post up touting interest in the McCain/Palin rally this Friday. This should come as no surprise to anyone watching the presidential race closely. The McCain campaign and the Republican party have been crowing about the large crowds Palin has attracted ever since she was named McCain’s running mate. Lately, however, reports have trickled out that the McCain campaign has been less than honest about the size of the crowds at their events. Here is an excerpt from a Bloomberg article: McCain aide Kimmie Lipscomb told reporters on Sept. 10 that an outdoor rally in Fairfax City, Virginia, drew 23,000 people, attributing the crowd estimate to a fire marshal. [...]

“The mentality of, “Yeah, well my dad can beat up your dad””

Um, isn’t this all about my dad (candidate) can beat up your dad (candidate). It’s a freaking election. People think their candidate is better. Do you think Michael is posting this story as simply an FYI? No, he’s trying to argue McCain is Mr. Popular and trying to assert more so than Obama. But, as Leroy rightly points out, to do that you kinda have to beat the guy you are trying to beat. He’s not going to do that at the Blaine airport.

But, at least he’s bringing Palin so he’s not embarrased by the whole 3/4ths empty auditorium thing like yesterday.

PD, are you still in denial about McCain surging to the lead in national and state polls? It really must bother you to know that NOboma peaked way to early and has no where to go but down.

People are beginning to realize that his lack of experience would not be a good thing for this country. He would be another Jimmy Carter - God help us all.

I heard that “telemprompter” was Barak Obama’s other middle name.

      http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/09/15/obamas-teleprompter-hits-the-trail/

He gives a better prepared speech, but my bet is he makes Al Gore look naturally spontaneous at the debates.

    13. Dash Riprock Says:
      September 16th, 2008 at 11:13 am

Hey PD, I would be in a panic also if my candidate (Obama) was on the losing end of a 25% shift in the polls.

Well it may be a little known statistic but Anoka Co. Minnesota has accurately picked the president for many, many years. This County is a terrific bellwether for the nation overall and certainly for all of Minnesota. A campaign stop here for Busch/Cheney in 2004 proved providential. Hopefully it will work as well for McCain/Palin.

    15. quid Says:

Barack Hussein Obama is not a friend to anyone in America who works, is trying to raise a family, goes to church and has 2 bucks left over because Barack Hussein Obama will over tax and over regulate the life out of us, our employers and every industry that is still located here in the US.

A vote for Obama/Biden and their Socialist viewpoint is a wasted vote that only undermines America.

    16. Pete Says:
      September 16th, 2008 at 1:22 pm

Everytime Obama claims he is only raising the taxes on the rich he is being untruthful. Most of the rich he is going to tax the hell out of are business owners who will merely raise prices to cover the additional expense.

I guess that could be referred to as “trickle down taxes”.

    17. Leroy Jenkins Says:
      September 16th, 2008 at 1:25 pm

So, Petey, the republican stance is that they would rather not tax business or people, and hope that all these fetuses they are attempting to save don’t mind paying for today’s government when they are old enough to pay taxes?

    18. David Says:
      September 16th, 2008 at 1:39 pm

If Anoka county is the predictor of the next President, God help us all. But it would stand to reason in that McCain will be quickly replaced by “Her” and as she’s so into considering actual knowledge a terrible thing, snowmobiling and moose hunting. . .it would be a perfect fit.
Despite what Rush has beat into everyone’s heads over the years: stupidity is not a virtue.

    19. Pete Says:
      September 16th, 2008 at 3:33 pm

Leroy, if Pete was my real name I might take offense at being called Petey but if it amuses you to call me Petey go ahead and enjoy.

No Leroy, I just want Obama and his boys to be honest about what happens when they raise taxes only on the “rich”. Those new taxes trickle down to the poor.

Unlike the Bush tax cuts Obama will be adding poor people back on to the tax rolls where he to eliminate the Bush tax cuts.

When you raise taxes on anyone it always impacts the lower income people more. If you had an honest bone in your body you would agree. I’l wait.

Better it be Anoka County than say North Minneapolis.

Alan Greenspan came out the other day to announce that the country can not afford to continue the Bush tax cuts.

This is the same Greenspan who was appointed to the job by Reagan and also served BOTH Bush administrations.

So, perhaps you can understand my hesitation when I hear John Mccain, a guy who admits he doesn’t understand the economy, say that he wants to extend the cuts.

“Alan Greenspan came out the other day to announce that the country can not afford to continue the Bush tax cuts.”

LIE … he said we can’t afford MORE tax cuts without spending cuts… which is what John McCain proposes.

What does that even mean? Do you smoke alot of dope? Totally?? Are you ummmm..Retarded?

You’d probably lend more credence to your posts if you ended them with ‘…and stuff and things..dude’.
