Social Security is a multi-generational rip-off through which payees receive back less than they pay in, delivers an awful return on investment for all parties and drains government resources and attention.

Price fixing will only eliminate key drugs from the menu of prescriptions available to medicade/medicare recipients, lower quality of healthcare and put bureaucrats in charge of what treatments are available.

He should at least need to state his position especially if he is going to dispatch others to say others are misrepresenting his position. These are simple yes or no questions that he has dodged.

Why is Eric Paulsen afraid to take a stand on ANYTHING? Could it be that he is far too conservative for the district, and he fears that if the voters learn his true stripes, that he will become this election cycle’s Alan Fine?

Bullshit. Rosenberg takes quotes out of a paragraph that talks about Medicare SETTING prices yielding a savings, and uses it to justify NEGOTIATING prices. He’s a fucking liar and Madia is complicit in the lie.

If Eric Paulsen feels he is being misrepresented, he should dust off a piece of his unused congressional letterhead, and go unequivocally on the record with his detailed positions and sign his name to it. But if he takes a position, he may offend a voter, so it appears he is trying to remain as far from details as possible.

I’m also eagerly awaiting the PAULSEN campaign to release a press release putting doubts to rest and annoucing his support for allowing the federal government to negotiate prices and his opposition to privatizing social security.

Call me crazy for not believing a cryptic GOP press release and an assurance by MBB when candidate Paulsen is completely silent on the issue.

Ash Madia told the truth. Erik Paulsen never ruled out privatizing social security. He just said that he supported preserving Social Security– and really, what does that mean? You’re a paid Paulsen staffer, I’m sure you can find out for us. Does it mean that he does believe we should privatize social security, or that we shouldn’t. It’s a simple question, but one that you and your milquetoast candidate keep obfuscating on.
