However, Doug Johnson is currently a lobbyist who is looking for Norm Coleman to support his organization in building a coal energy plant. Doesn’t exactly sound like he has thrown his support behind the Senator for “philosophical” reasons! This doesn’t sound like a very important or valid endoresement.

You claim and other Democrats claim that Norm is running a 100% negative campaign. so why on earth all summer and fall have democrats been saying things like Franken is Toxis or unelectable.

If Franken has been running a positive upbeat campaign none of this should be happening especially in what has been described as a Democrat year.

Isn’t it refresing that a politician can take a stand like that?

Oh, wait – Johnson’s a DFLer.

If a GOPer came out for Franken, the GOP would strip them of the chair assignment, withhold endorsement in the next election, and then run someone against ‘em.

Dissent is allowed in the DFL; in the GOP it’s punished.
