NARN “THE FINAL WORD” TODAY FROM 3-5 P.M.

By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 4, 2008

I’ll be on the radio today for a two-hour program from 3-5 p.m. with King Banaian of SCSU Scholars on AM 1280 The Patriot.

Before you listen to King and me, make sure you listen to the first four hours of the Northern Alliance Radio Network. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. you can hear Power Line’s John Hinderaker and Chad and Brian from Fraters Libertas. Mitch Berg and Captain Ed are on the air from 1-3 pm.

I encourage you to all to listen. Broadcasts can be heard on AM 1280 The Patriot, which has an Internet stream for those outside the Twin Cities. Brave Democrats and proud Republicans can join the conversation at (651) 289-4488.

UPDATE: Tom Steward, regional communications director for Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign, was a guest from 3:15 to 3:30 p.m

UPDATE #2: Kenneth Stromquist, Ret. Brigadier General Air National Guard, Vets for McCain Steering Committee Member was a guest from 3:30 to 3:45 p.m. to talk about outrageous comments made by Senator Barack Obama.

UPDATE #3: Aaron Clarey, who blogs at Captain Capitalim, and Bleak, who blogs at Schadenfreude Now, were guest of the program from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m. to talk about the economic bailout bill.

Hey remember that one time you never post polls that show your boy Norm down.

    Senate: Franken 43, Coleman 34, Barkley 18

Looks like the liberal Strib has created another one of their famous Outliers (an observation or calculation that is numerically distant from the rest of the data).

“Hey remember that one time you never post polls that show your boy Norm down.”

    From a previous post:

    Ergo,
    Democrat polls=Democrat results.

Anyone that takes a Strib poll seriously
    is a fool.

The 2006 Red Star poll was correct – Mark Kennedy was down by 19%. This was a complete accident – the Democrat oversampling just happened to equal the low turnout by Republicans. This was nothing the Star Tribune did – they got lucky by accident.

There is no way that the 2008 results are going to replicate 2006, for three reasons. 1. Republicans are scared of Obama and will turnout at the polls, already skewing the Red Star’s ideal result. 2. Democrats on the Iron Range or in the Farm Belt may not turnout in droves for Obama and Franken quite like the Beltway Dems will (the 494/694 beltway, that is). 3. There is still a lot of politicking to do in this last month.

jbenson, you do know that the Strib got bought out, don’t you?

…but still has the same nutjob liberal editorial staff and news editors. Ownership has changed, management has not.

Hey, Mitch Berg is a big St. Paul booster. Did he talk about the rampant housing code violations in da Midway area?
