COLEMAN FOR U.S. SENATE PRESS RELEASE: SENATOR NORM COLEMAN: “ANY GROUP OR ORGANIZATION ACTING IN SUPPORT OF MY CAMPAIGN SHOULD PULL DOWN NEGATIVE ATTACK ADS”

By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 10, 2008

ST. PAUL – Today, Senator Norm Coleman announced that his campaign was pulling any negative ads that his campaign is responsible for approving, and directed that every effort be made to ensure that all such ads be removed from the airwaves.

“Any ad in which I am responsible for saying, ‘My name is Norm Coleman and I approved this message,’ I have directed my campaign to begin immediately pulling down,” said Senator Norm Coleman. “And, I call upon any group, or organization that is intending to support my candidacy to do just that – support my candidacy and not attack my opponents.  If these organizations wish to influence the outcome of this campaign, they can best do so by providing the people of my state with a positive reflection of my record, and my vision for the future.  It’s time to end the negativity in a day when people are looking and reaching for hope and confidence.”

As required by law, Coleman and his campaign are not allowed to communicate directly with any independent organization about commercials or any other campaign activities.  Because of this, Senator Coleman has directed his campaign to issue this release in the hopes that the news media and others will circulate it so that organizations who wish to assist the Senator will do so in the same spirit that the Senator has chosen to conduct his campaign.

I commend your decision to assist the Senator in acting in accordance with how he wishes his campaign to be conducted.

Toxic Al won’t go along with this. Negative lies and twisted misrepresentations is all this carpetbagger has to offer. Other than not paying his taxes, workers comp, writing porn or a stupid SNL skit, he’s got nothing else.

    Aaron: You’re a liar.

Michael, attack me all you want, I guess.

Very true. However if he accidentally dropped a copy of his press statement on the stairs in front of his DC rental, or maybe practiced for the conference really loudly in his basement apartment, couldn’t they have gotten the message just as easily that way?

“If these organizations wish to influence the outcome of this campaign, they can best do so by providing the people of my state with a positive reflection of my record, and my vision for the future. “

What are Norm and all these other groups going to spend their money on, now that they don’t have anything to talk about?

But, Ashole Madia said that he can’t do this.

    “”Aaron: You’re a liar.”"

Now now, Mike, your boss told you no more negativity! Paint on that smiley face and know that now Sen. Coleman has a chance to redeem himself.

Jackof, get the nice Play Ground Lady to explain what Madia said, previously, and Coleman said, above.

And show some respect by pullin’ yer head out of your ass first, ya (cheney)in’ moron.

  10. Master of None Says:
    October 10th, 2008 at 3:54 PM

    Respect for who

    Ashwipe or Asholes like you.

Madia said he couldn’t do anything about the DCCC ads even though he said they were “inaccurate”.

Couldn’t he have said something like this…?

“I call upon any group, or organization that is intending to support my candidacy to do just that – support my candidacy and not attack my opponents. ”

No, he couldn’t because he’s a sleazy punk.

Wow this really scares me. I thought there was no way that Coleman would lose to Franken, but this is the last desperate act of a losing campaign. This is what losers do, not winners. Their internal polling must be telling them it looks terrible.

  12. Tommy Johnson Says:
    October 10th, 2008 at 4:27 PM

Jackof, did you see Rammer sayin’ that, about and to national GOPer groups, when Rammer was condemning the crap ads tossed at Paulsen?

Here’s a hint: it’s a two letter word, that the PlayGroundLady yells at you all the time, Jackof.

You Jackofs are whiners of the worst kind; and you continually demonstrate why:

    “Hypocrisy, thy party is GOP”

  13. Master of None Says:
    October 10th, 2008 at 4:34 PM

What GOP groups have run attack ads against Madia?

“crap ads tossed at Paulsen” wow, a little glimmer of honesty from the fat turd.

“…or maybe practiced for the conference really loudly in his basement apartment, couldn’t they have gotten the message just as easily that way?”

Robin gets her marching orders from George Soros by listening to the echoes of what he is saying bounce off his colon walls.

But it doesn’t work the same way in an apartment, tubby; the accoustics of drywall and George Soros’ rectum are very different.

    But thanks for stopping by!

    *laughing*

  15. Tommy Johnson Says:

Jackof, you wusses hate it when Democrats act like republiCons. I don’t enjoy slappin’ you biotches around, but hey – it’s a lousy job and someone has to do it.

You’re gettin’ beaten like a cheap drum in every aspect in damn near every election. Your policies have failed, your party is in disgrace, and Jack Abramoff is still singing to the Feds.

George aWol Bush will leave office with a net S&P Loss and the economy in tatters. Everything your party has touched, it has broken.

And your Fearless Leader, republiCon Ron, is either the biggest crook in your small-party tent, or the most incompetent. Take your pick. “Both” is an option.

Will you turn on him, too?

Will republiCon Ron be deposed by Thanksgiving?

    Christmas?

Your party needs to get it’s shit together. Unfortunately for your party, assholes like you and Scrotee are the base.

  16. Swiftee Says:
    October 10th, 2008 at 8:30 PM

HAHAHAHAHAHA! The only thing you’re capable of “slapping around” is your empty sack Cheeto boy.

Oh wait, you probably haven’t been able to reach around your beach ball gut to get at that for years! Well, everyone is real impressed with your ability to slap your gums together, Cheeto boy…so you got that going for ya.

    *LMAO@U*

I love you big mouthed Democraps…all talk.

  17. Tommy Johnson Says:
    October 10th, 2008 at 8:53 PM

Scrotee, I don’t love you republiCons at all; but the way you and Jackof talk, you got plenty of love between ya. But hey – it’s your small tent, and what ya do in under it, who cares? It’s filled with losers!

    ROFLMAO@U!

  18. Master of None Says:
    October 10th, 2008 at 9:01 PM

So you can’t name any GOP groups running ads against Madia, can you? Fucking turd.

  19. allen Says:

Who is advising Norm on this? The McCain camp? If you don’t remind people of Al Franken’s hatred he’s going to spend the next 24 days making himself out to be Mother Teresa. I actually heard a Republican say she was going to vote for Al because “all Norm does is go on trips paid for by big oil”. Negative works every time. Wake up, people!
