FAIL: TEAM FRANKEN’S EMBEDDED BLOGGER AT MN PUBLIUS TRIES TO AMBUSH COLEMAN ON MPR

By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 13, 2008

Team Franken’s embedded blogger at MN Publius, Aaron Landry, tried to ambush Senator Coleman on MPR today with two loaded questions, one of which Senator Coleman has answered.  The best part was that Landry tried to force Coleman to answer his loaded questions with only yes or no answers. A big swing and miss for Team Franken and MN Publius.

So he won’t answer Minnesotans if Nasser Kazeminy ever paid for any clothing of Coleman’s and he refused to answer if he supports the idea of allowing putting social security in the stock market. BIG FAIL.

My title is bigger now though, isn’t it? How about “Team Franken’s lying embedded stalker at MN Publius”?

  2. Michael B. Brodkorb Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 11:56 AM

Aaron: You’re a liar. Senator Coleman has answered these question and did answers your loaded questions. I’m sure Team Franken is upset with your performance.

  3. Tommy Johnson Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 12:04 PM

Michael, I must have missed when Coleman denied Kazeminy ever buying stuff for Coleman.

Do you have a link to Coleman denying Kazeminy ever paid for Coleman’s clothes?

  4. Aaron Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 12:05 PM

Michael B Brodkorb: Actually, he didn’t answer the questions if Kazeminy ever paid for any article of clothing and he didn’t answer if he supports putting social security in the stock market. Not sure if you were actually listening or if you were just hearing that from Cullen Sheehan.

You can measure the success and importance of MDE by the number of liberals and competing bloggers who read it and respond.

    Keep up the good work.

Well, my story is the degree Coleman is cheating on his utility bills.

We already know he is, by the fact he took free utilities for over a year before reimbursing Jeff “Landlord” Larson for them; that’s against the rules.

Now, the question is who’s name was on that utility bill while Coleman was breaking the rules; it it was the corporate FLS name on the utility bill, Minnesota’s most ethically challenged politician – Norm Coleman – has an even bigger problem.

  8. Average Joe Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 12:19 PM

Look at the desperation of the paid Toxic Al bloggers: When did you get that suit and who paid for it? Who paid for your electricity bill and when did you know it?

These are the same clowns that decry Norm for “avoiding the issues”.

Toxic Al’s internals have to be showing a 10 point defeat coming so they’re getting desperate, having their surrogates attacking on any little, petty non-issue they can dream up.

  9. PlymouthDem Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 12:31 PM

    Michael,

Seriously, why can’t Coleman just come out and say no one bought him a suit? The only reason this is an issue at all is because Team Coleman is being stupid about it. And no, saying “we’ve reported everything we need to” is not an answer to that simple question.

  10. Tommy Johnson Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 12:31 PM

Look at the ignorance of republiCon posters – ignoring the fact Coleman is breaking ethics rules, simply because Coleman has an “R” behind his name.

“republiCons – in favor of enforcing laws and rules, except when one of their own break ‘em.”

  11. Chestnut Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 12:34 PM

And this is why nobody should vote for either Coleman or Franken. Both are a couple of idiots.

  12. Aaron Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 12:34 PM

PlymouthDem, my question is if he bought him anything. Coleman did go out of his way to explain the “suits,” specifically, as Michael indicated. But that’s just “suits.”

  13. Leroy Jenkins Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 12:39 PM

Norm just spent five more minutes on the radio playing defense.

    How is that a fail?

  14. Wade Seeker Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 12:41 PM

I wonder if Angry AL would tell us who his cocaine supplier was during SNL, during a press conference? after all thats not a loadexd question right Aaron?

  16. George Hayduke Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 12:44 PM

OK, forget the suits, let’s play another game then: Where did Normy get that footage of Al Franken “being Angry Al” that Normy used in his slimiest of slimy tv ads?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ljrh72Qy1tw

  17. Chestnut Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 12:46 PM

“I wonder if Angry AL would tell us who his cocaine supplier was during SNL, during a press conference? after all thats not a loadexd question right Aaron?”

Hell, I wonder if Al Franken would commit to releasing proof that he paid all the back-taxes he owed.

I wonder if Al Franken would commit to releasing his tax returns.

Every other candidate releases them. What makes carpet-bagging tax cheating moron so special?

  18. George Hayduke Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 12:49 PM

Maybe next time someone can ask Normy who his dope dealer was when he was smoking dope at Hofstra saying “these conservative kids don’t f**k or get high like we do”:

  19. Chestnut Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 1:08 PM

Maybe next time that asshole Al Franken is on air, someone will ask him how his 15 year career peddling hate from within the liberal hate echo-chamber has prepared him to work cooperatively with those with whom he may not always agree.

Maybe someone can as that asshole Al Franken why any Minnesotan should trust him to represent him when he hasn’t lived in this state in 35 years, and when he knows nothing about state, its economy, or the people who live here.

  20. Tommy Johnson Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 1:17 PM

Cherstnut – when did Coleman release his tax returns?

  21. John in SW Mn Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 2:22 PM

So Aaron, you’re worried about if someone may have bought Coleman a suit when your Carpetbagger Angry Al stole money from poor kids in NYC. But he got paid and that is all that matters correct? Maybe Angry Al was high on cocain and doesn’t recall good enough?

  22. Aaron Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 2:28 PM

    John-

I’m concerned about Norm Coleman’s ethics. The concept the Franken stole money from anyone is an outright lie. Norm Coleman likely was involved with activity that violates Senate rules and he’s running from it.

You should work on your grammar and spelling too.

  23. Tommy Johnson Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 2:33 PM

So, John – you’re not concerned that Norm Coleman willfully broke Senate Ethics Rules?

Thank you for demonstrating, once again, that GOP now stands for GreedOverPrinciples

  24. Pete Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 2:34 PM

Aaron – you are such a dumb ass clown. Here we have Franken admittedly violating tax and employment laws and you are trying to get some bogus crap to stick on Norm? Just one piece of evidence that would hold up in a court please Aaron.

You define the DFL – the party of hate and lies.

  25. Chestnut Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 2:40 PM

Neither Norm Coleman nor Al Franken deserve anyone’s vote. They are both a couple of ass clowns who apparently can’t get their shit together.

I appreciate Norm’s leadership on a number of issues. But I detest his lack of leadership on many more issues of higher importance. I’m not giving Norm Coleman the privilege of my vote this time around.

Likewise, Al Franken has done a few good things in his time on this earth. But he has a 15+ year career peddling hate and playing the critical role as part of the problem. He is incapable of representing anyone, much less Minnesota. We have far too many divisive assholes in Washington without sending Al Franken to the fray.

Coleman and Franken are both a couple of bums. To hell with both of them.

  26. Chestnut Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 2:55 PM

“So, John – you’re not concerned that Norm Coleman willfully broke Senate Ethics Rules?”

So what does DFL stand for, given that none of you communist piles of crap are too concerned about the your candidate’s un-spun propensity to break the law?

  27. Tommy Johnson Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 3:06 PM

Chestnut – do you or do you not agree that Norm Coleman is a wuss for throwing crap, but when the tide turns, he calls for an end to throwing crap?

  28. Pete Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 3:29 PM

Tommy, do you or do you not agree that Tommy Johnson is a wuss for throwing crap, but when the tide turns, he whines about Republicans doing the same thing?

  29. Chestnut Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 3:33 PM

    Tommy,
I think you’re an professional crap throwing asshole. Per your statement, however, sure, anyone who throws mud then gets upset about mud thrown back is kind of a pussy.

Al Franken, included. By your standard, that flame-throwing, scorched earth, hate-peddling, king of mud-throwers is the biggest goddam pussy in the election.

  30. Tommy Johnson Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 3:41 PM

rePete, this concept is probably beyond you; it it is, ask the nice ShortBusDriver on your way home.

I don’t give a (cheney) about the games republiCons play; I think it’s hilarious that they’re (cheney)in’ hypocrites.

If Paulsen was ahead by 2 points and had a cash advantage, he wouldn’t be whining like the little wuss he is; he’d be sliming to the max like the sleazeball he is.

Norm Coleman came out throwin’ crap; since last March. Now that it’s not working, he’s suddenly had an epiphany?

    Not a chance.

What you losers hate, is when the tactics you use is used back on you.

    Hypocrisy, thy party is GOP.

  31. Chestnut Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 4:00 PM

“Norm Coleman came out throwin’ crap; since last March. Now that it’s not working, he’s suddenly had an epiphany?”

Al FrankenPussy has been throwing crap for over 15 years. He’s the biggest, most worthless pussy in the election to cry all day about the negative ads that have told the truth about him.

    Franken: What a goddam pussy.

Al Franken is a whiny little bitch.

  34. George Hayduke Says:

Has Norm Coleman released his tax records?

  35. Leroy Jenkins Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 7:13 PM

Every so often, Chestnut makes a good point.

I agree with his premise that Neither Norm nor Al have proven to be the sort of inspirational leaders that we deserve to have representing us in the Senate. Both have run terribly flawed campaigns that have relied far too heavily on mudslinging while avoiding any true debate about their visions for the future.

That being said, Norm Coleman has proven in his single term to be an ineffective leader. And with the only other option being a certified crackpot in Mr. Barkley, I will grudgingly keep with the theme of change in this November’s election and cast my ballot for Al Franken.

He is not the perfect candidate, but he beats six more years of rudderless leadership. If six years from now, we are no better off than we are today, I will support whatever insurgency rises to challenge Senator Franken from within the DFL ranks.

  36. Cash N. Carey Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 7:17 PM

Who is this Aaron nutcase and why does he keep showing up? Aren’t there drugs that can help people like him? Maybe Tommy Johnson can hang out with him for a while so he has at least one friend and won’t be so obnoxious. It would help Tommy have something constructive to keep himself occupied.

  37. Greg Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 9:06 PM

Just a question: Angry Al has a stupid audio ad out…”change the state bird…drain the great lakes…as absurd as Frankin not paying his taxes, because he did”. Well, prove it. Release the returns. Any Moron can say he did. Prove it. Otherwise, the charge sticks and he is a elitist scofflaw unqualified to be dogcatcher.

  38. Chestnut Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 9:13 PM

“as absurd as Frankin not paying his taxes, because he did…”

Tax authorities in 18 states disagree. Al Franken DID NOT pay his taxes. He sure as hell never “overpaid” his taxes…

Ugh. Al Franken is a complete waste of space. He and Norm Coleman deserve each other.

  39. Chestnut Says:
    October 13th, 2008 at 9:43 PM

Hey, you know… maybe Al Franken DID overpay his taxes. But to believe that, you have to believe that paying penalties and interest on unpaid taxes constitutes “overpaying.”

And if you believe that, then you can believe that Barak Obama plans to give 95 percent of tax payers a tax break. In order to believe that, you have to believe that sending checks to people who don’t pay taxes is a tax cut.

  40. Emeraldking08 Says:
    October 14th, 2008 at 7:16 AM

See what you are voting for? A Carpetbagger AL, Tapdance Norm. Just think what they will be like in Washington. Doing exactly what I think they will do. NOTHING AT ALL!! They will get there and nothing will get done. I am sick and tired of my taxes paying these people to get nothing done. Just think, if you didn’t do what you were paid for at your job. You’d get your ass handed to you and told to make sure that the door doesn’t hit you in the ass when you leave. Norm did do a good job in Washington. Yes, he got tax breaks for the wealthy and for big oil. Yes, he did some welfare. Those poor oil companies needed money so they could keep their record breaking profits while we struggle to put gas in our cars. Did nothing to help New Orleans. Did he? Did he express outrage when that city was mismanaged before and after Katrina? Did he step up and say something needs to be done? I don’t ever remember hearing anything. Al? Never heard him either. With either of these 2 numb skulls nothing will get done. It will be the same crap different day. We need someone that is willing to go to Washington and do what they are going to be paid to do. GET THE BUSINESS OF THIS COUNTRY DONE!
Dean Barkely for Senate. David Dillon for US Congress 3rd Congressional District.
