The ads have not attacked Norm personally or that of his family. It’s his record that has been subject of the ads. Al’s been easy on Norm.

When Republicans tell the truth about the Dem candidate it’s a “negative ad” or an “attack ad”, in order to shut down debate, to avoid allowing the truth to be known.

Anyone who reads these comments sees that truth, and can see how the libs twist things in an attempt to cloud the issues.

…and the point expressed in post #16 is correct. Paulsen has a record, and it’s a record he’s spinning from as fast as he can.

14 years in the state house, including a stint as GOP Majority Leader, and he’s not touting his “achievements” as a GOPer on his website?

Paulsen and Michael (and, we all know that Paulsen has essentially become one with Michael) cannot whine about negative ads when they are running negative ads. You want to try and call someone a liar? Fine (it’s not true, but, go ahead). But, don’t come whining to me as a voter about negative ads being run against you by third parties when you can’t even manage to stop your own negative ads that YOUR CAMPAIGN APPROVES.

The choice is simple – if you think the misAdministration of Boy Blunder And The Plunderers gave us eight great years and you want to Stay The Course! – vote for Paulsen. After all, what’s an $11 TRILLION dollar debt, when it’s your kids or grand-kids that have to pay for it?

Paulsen is an example of why GOP now stands for GreedOverPrinciples.

He’s DEMONSTRATING that Madia is a goddam liar. It’s not an accusation without evidence.

Paulsen has neither condemned or called for his own negative ads to stop. Why are you holding Madia to a different standard than Paulsen who actually ran the first negative ad and now has transitioned to personal attack ads (calling someone a liar). These ads aren’t coming from a third party, they are coming from PAULSEN and APPROVED BY PAULSEN (and apparently his entire family).

I had said that Coleman’s call to end negative ads was admirable, but this gives me cause to be less sure. Michael, what’s going on here? There are two possibilities: either Coleman wasn’t sincere, or the national Republicans are intentionally going against Coleman’s stated wishes.

Why? Because Al Franken is a pro-bowl hate-peddler. He’s a professional when it comes to personal attacks. He’s made a career out of lying and leveling baseless accusations.

Franken is a bonafide asshole.

Isn’t it Coleman who can’t stand the heat based on this press release? Franken has repeatedly said “bring it” when it came to the personal attacks. Why? Because he knew it would ultimately backfire (as it did).

Personal attacks? Hardly. The ads told the truth about Al Franken.

The greatest offense is running them for 9 months. We get it, Al Franken is an asshole. But we really didn’t need 150 versions of the same tax cheat ad to hammer that point home.
