Al Franken is on “Midday” on Minnesota Public Radio today from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Depending on the discussion, I may have a few posts about his appearance.

Franken is doing a fantastic job – even handling Jesse Ventura’s attack quite well.

Franken talked about how taxes would go up under his plan…taxes will go up.

Michael, the National Debt goes up under your party’s plan. Which do you think is fairer to the next generations?

Did you listen to McCain this morning? What type of voodoo is that man suggesting? He wants to buy everyone’s mortgage, renegotiate it so people can afford their homes, keep property values rising because there won’t be many foreclosures, make college affordable, get small businesses creating new jobs by making loans affordable for them again and plentiful…..while cutting taxes….and supporting two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. I guess I am too stupid to be a Republican. I just know in grad school I took economics and they taught us that you had to pay for what you receive. Somehow the GOP doesn’t believe that you ever have to pay for anything.
