STAR TRIBUNE: “HENNEPIN COUNTY INVESTIGATING ACORN REGISTRATIONS”

By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 15, 2008

The Hennepin County Attorney’s office said today it is investigating whether a voter registration processing lapse at the Minnesota ACORN office falls within guidelines for criminal prosecution.

A malfunctioning scanner at ACORN’s St. Paul offices in August created a backlog that caused a batch of cards to be submitted late to the Hennepin County Elections Board.

All of the registrations were processed in time to allow voters to participate in both the primary and general elections. None was discarded for fraud or ineligibility.” Source: Star Tribune, October 14, 2008

wow on the radio last night Freeman was trying to point out that this was just one person.

Maybe Freeman should want to be agressive with all the convictions and multiple crimes that took place in other states that there might be more than crime taking place here.

Of COURSE Mike Freeman’s office is investigating; there’s allegations of misconduct.

And it’s a good thing Mike Freeman is Hennepin County’s attorney; he’s a good man who is more than willing to prosecute a left-leaning organization if the charges warrant.

Now, let’s look at the GOPer side, where “Justice” is spelled “inJustice.”

Anyone remember GonzoGate, wherein a bimbo like Palouse could get named as an Attorney General because she was both inexperienced and connected?

I applaud Mike Freeman for putting principles over politics and finding out if there are crooks in ACORN, and I condemn the GOP for proving over and Over and OVER that GOP now stands for GreedOverPrinciples.

Guilt by association! Guilt by association!

This is such a dumb story. ACORN isn’t being investigated because it’s falsely registering voters in Minnesota, it’s being investigated because it F’ed up and didn’t turn in people’s registrations. If Minnesota wasn’t a register on the day state they actually would have potentially screwed over voters.

    October 15th, 2008 at 12:20 PM

Hey, PD – funny how they’re makin’ such a fuss over ACRON, when their standard bearer, Bushy McSame, is such a real pal of ACORN.

Well, he used to be – now he’s not.

Just like Bushy McSame was against Bush’s taxcuts, before he was for ‘em.

Just like Governor MooseMeat was for the bridge to nowhere, before she was against it.

It’s amazing, isn’t it? Governor MooseMeat’s memory is just as (cheney)ed as Bushy McSame’s memory is.

    Hey Tommy:

US Attorneys were being replaced in part because they weren’t investigating voter fraud.
Who made it an issue they were fired?

    The Democrats!

So when the President acts to stop voter fraud it’s the Democrats who support it.

“Anyone remember GonzoGate, wherein a bimbo like Palouse could get named as an Attorney General because she was both inexperienced and connected?”

That’s some pretty impressive libel you’re cookin’ there Tommy. Palouse was exceptionally well qualified, actually.

  7. Chestnut Says:
    October 15th, 2008 at 12:56 PM

On Palouse, why do Democrats hate strong, independent thinking professional women so much?

Regarding the topic, however: The charges against Minnesota ACORN are mild. Nothing to get worked up about.

The nation-wide ACORN scandal, however is appalling. Of course, they could be doing the same thing here, but I’m sure S.O.S. Mark Ritchie, voter fraud promoter, wouldn’t do much to stop it.

  8. Tommy Johnson Says:
    October 15th, 2008 at 12:56 PM

As usual, Walter, you have your facts wrong.

Locally, a good and honorable Republican, Tom Heffelfinger, was on the chopping block for following the law with regards to Native Americans at Red Lake.

In New Mexico, Repbulican appointed US Attorney David Iglesias was fired because he refused to proseute bogus “voter fraud” cases, because his investigation concluded the charges weren’t warranted.

Do try to keep up, Walter.

  9. Pete Says:
    October 15th, 2008 at 1:09 PM

And Bill Clinton fired them all. Somehow Democrats feel that was better – idiots.

Do try to keep up puddles.

  10. Chestnut Says:
    October 15th, 2008 at 1:10 PM

“Just like Bushy McSame was against Bush’s taxcuts, before he was for ‘em.”

He always supported the Bush tax cuts. He opposed the fact they weren’t accompanied by spending cuts as well.

But we wouldn’t expect a dishonest, fascist fuck like you, Tommy, to tell the truth.

  11. Tommy Johnson Says:
    October 15th, 2008 at 1:18 PM

Chestnut, Palouse was anything BUT “strong and independent thinking”; she was specifically picked because she was meek, mild, and maleable.

That’s what the Bush The Lesser’s Department of inJustice was looking for; remember this Supreme Court nominee?

  12. Tommy Johnson Says:
    October 15th, 2008 at 1:22 PM

rePete, you shortbus MORON – isn’t the nice PlayGroundLady reading you recent news?

Or are you just too (cheney)in’ STUPID to remember it??!?

Google “Mukasey special prosecutor scandal” and try to catch up, rePete.

Not that you will; but you still can try….

  13. walter Hanson Says:
    October 15th, 2008 at 1:52 PM

    Tommy:

The attorneys were fired in part because they weren’t following the prioties of the Bush adminstration.

The Democrats than stepped in and attacked the firings.

So just like Fannie Mannie the Democrats were trying to stop people from going after voter fraud.

Why is it so massive this year? They think they can cheat and Obama won’t go after them. In Ohio a federal judge had to order the Democrat Secretary of State to investigate.

Fear of prosucution reduces the crime. Non fear of prosucution gets the mess we have.

Of course if you don’t care than why for example should we prosecute somebody who is caught stealing a car?

    Or committing murder?

This crime is very serious because somebody who illegally votes offsets a person who votes legally.

And yes Tommy if somebody votes illegally they will probably vote Democrat.

  14. Chestnut Says:
    October 15th, 2008 at 2:33 PM

Why does Tommy hate women who are strong, intelligent and independent.

Must be why he’s been stuck with Rosie Palm and her five sisters for so many years.

  15. jay Says:
    October 15th, 2008 at 2:42 PM

Face it Chestnut and Walter, the Bush administartion screwed up on the US Attourney scandal.

That is leaving one Clinton appointee was leaving one to many.

  16. Pete Says:
    October 15th, 2008 at 3:28 PM

Yes puddles you do have a difficult time keeping up. Chestnut is right, why do you hate strong women so much? I know, I know, you are used to having DFL women who will do whatever the boys say.

Sorry dude but Republicans like strong women who do not just following marching orders from the likes of you.

    You silly turd!
