You mean that file that consists only of a couple half-assed complaints with no basis? Yes, I’m pretty sure that that file will “disappear.” It hardly exists in the first place.

That somehow, the Senate’s Ethics Committee’s file on Coleman is simply going to disappear?

if the dems get their 60 seats in senate, don’t assume that assures ultra liberal agenda. it will of course favor more liberal trend, but many of the dem senators are conservative economically–i.e. conrad, johnson, nelson, landieu; thus, they still need to work both sides of the aisle.

Candidate B has been leading in every major poll for the past month.

Throwing out the names and personalities, it is the inane person who would like the odds of candidate A in this scenario.

The truth is, Norm is paying for his focus on national party politics his first couple of years in the Senate.
It seems like a distant memory but he was the toast of the town when he went it and spent a lot of time fundraising for other Senate candidates across the country and entertaining interviews about being on the ticket in ’08.

My how the mighty has fallen.

One note of interest, Coleman is making a hard play to Chair NRSC. So, if he wins, he will chair the election committee of the senate Republicans. It will be in his interest, and his job, to see that the Democratic agenda is defeated- not compromised or tempered with to get bi-partisan support but defeated, no matter Minnesota or country’s gain.

On the other hand, Franken will be another vote for the Democratic majority. A chance for Minnesota to have another voice in the new agenda for change the nation is pushing for (except the blind hardcore republicans).

So, why would Minnesota send him back?

This is amazing!

Michael, you should very proud of these endorsements.

If Norm Coleman wins the election on a positive message (disregarding the past advertising and the NRSC, which Franken now admits you cannot control) it will be a truly great thing for Minnesota.

I do truly hope that if elected Norm Coleman returns to the Senate not thinking he is invincible, but that he has a mandate from Minnesotan to get things done by working across party lines.
