NARN “THE FINAL WORD” TODAY FROM 3-5 P.M.

By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 25, 2008

I’ll be on the radio today for a two-hour program from 3-5 p.m. with King Banaian of SCSU Scholars on AM 1280 The Patriot.

Before you listen to King and me, make sure you listen to the first four hours of the Northern Alliance Radio Network. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. you can hear Power Line’s John Hinderaker and Chad and Brian from Fraters Libertas. Mitch Berg and Captain Ed are on the air from 1-3 pm.

I encourage you to all to listen. Broadcasts can be heard on AM 1280 The Patriot, which has an Internet stream for those outside the Twin Cities. Brave Democrats and proud Republicans can join the conversation at (651) 289-4488.

UPDATE: Tom Steward, regional communications director for Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign, was a guest from 3:20 to 3:30 p.m

UPDATE #2: Erik Paulsen, the GOP endorsed candidate for Congress in the 3rd CD, was a guest from 4:30 to 4:45 p.m. Please note that I disclosed during the interview, as I have done on Minnesota Democrats Exposed, that I am a part-time research consultant to Paulsen’s campaign.

“I respected his passion. I respected him for the spirit he brought to his job.”

I’m right there with you, Michael. We may have disagreed with Paul on how to get to the promised land, but I actually think we shared a vision with him of America being a great place where everyone could improve their lot and have good quality of life.

I didn’t support Wellstone the candidate but I admired and respected Wellstone the man. I appreciated his passion and there was no question he was committed to serving his constituents.

Nice post (the original in the link).

    Mike:

This is something that I hope Eric will point out during the last ten days let alone the rest of the Republican candidates for congress:

    * FOR ALL THE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE WAR AND TAX CUTS WE WOULD’VE HAD A BALANCE FEDERAL BUDGET IN 2006 IF WE HAD LIMITED THE GROWTH IN FEDERAL SPENDING TO $250 BILLION INSTEAD OF $500 BILLION WE WOULD HAVE A BALANCE BUDGET!

ALL THESE DEMOCRATS ARE TALKING ABOUT SPENDING WAY MORE MONEY THAN LESS. Their plans to payback isn’t cut other spending which people like me have to do, but raise their wages automatically (tax increases and cut the one expenditure which the government has to do which is defend the country).

Who needed to “limit the growth in federal spending?”….oh, that’s right…the GOP was in charge. So, now, the GOP needs to save us from the GOP?

Looks like the McCain campaign thinks the Independence Party endorsement is a little more important the the Star Tribune (who once again endorsed a Democrat in Norm Coleman)

WMD, what have the Democrats done to limit spending? They have been in charge for almost two years now. Tell what they have even attempted to do? Barney Frank promises more spending and, later on, higher taxes. At least with McCain we have a fighting chance.

It sucks to have to listen to a stinkin’ Democrat rake the GOP over the coals about spending and not be able to laugh my ass off, but there’s no getting around the fact that GWB and many GOP congressmen have forgotten what got them elected.

That being said, whenever I hear a stinkin’ Democrat say that electing another stinkin’ Democrat will result in fiscal restraint, I can still laugh my ass off…

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!

Oh, boy. That’s always good, isn’t it?

Hey; anyone remember when Brokaw asked Obamessiah what spending plans he would cut due to the sour economy, and the anointed one went on to tell us why he wasn’t going to curtail his spending by one thin dime?

It was a rare bit of honesty from a lyin’ Democrat….you should listen to it again.

    Listen.

The GOP hasn’t always delivered the goods, but anyone that believes the Democrat party won’t tax the living crap out of us is an absolute nutcase.

So, it is better to chose the candidate who will lie to you and do what is needed than the one who will tell you the truth and do what is needed?

Good to know how you pick your candidates.
