BREAKING NEWS: GOP LEGISLATIVE CANDIDATE NEARLY RUN-OVER BY VEHICLE; DRIVER UPSET ABOUT CAMPAIGN LITERATURE LEFT AT HOME

By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 27, 2008

Andrew Reinhardt, the GOP endorsed candidate in HD 47B, was nearly run-over this weekend by automobile after being confronted by the driver who was frustrated Reinhardt’s campaign literature.  Reinhardt was door-knocking in Brooklyn Park on 91st Trail between Nevada and Maryland Avenue when the driver of a black Mazda with a spoiler pull up along side Reinhardt to complain about campaign literature being left at his home.

After a brief conversation, the angry driver attempted to get out of the vehicle. Reinhardt quickly left the scene, but the man drove his vehicle onto a nearby lawn, attempting to hit Reinhardt with his vehicle. Reinhardt was able to get safe location and the driver fled the area.

The driver was described as a heavy-set, white male, in his late 30′s or early 40′s.  A police report was filed and according to Reinhardt, police are currently looking for the driver of the vehicle. Please check back to Minnesota Democrats Exposed for more information on this developing story.

Sounds like the work of Al Franken to me!

Are you sure it wasn’t Barak Obama, Brian Melendez, Al Franken, Ash Madia and Melissa Hortman all in the same car trying to run him down?

Maybe Hortman was wearing a skirt above her knees, so you could call her a prostitute as well.

The bottom line is, you won’t find a single democrat (other than the deranged driver) who will support running over opposing candidates. And try as you might to make this a party issue, it is not. It is a single nutjob being pissed off and going nuts.

You failed to mention when the canvasser in Rochester had his Palm Pilot stolen from him, and then was forced to lay face down in the yard until the cops came. Would it be fair to say that Ron Carey ordered him to do this?

Where was Melissa Hortman at the time?

Maybe the driver thought it was NRSC’s latest campaign literature. No reason to run someone over with your car though. That kinda puts you at the same level as the NRSC.

    That just grosses me out.

This isn’t the first instance of Hortman or one of her supporters going ballistic. In 2006 she yelled at him in broad daylight in somebody’s yard, threatened a gas station owner and cursed out a constituent.

    Brodkorb/Carey/Craig,

Calm down, breathe, breathe, breathe, and then check the grammar of your posts before posting. Repeat.

Description: An anti-GOP, heavy-set white male, in his 30’s or early 40’s driving a black (possibly dark green) Mazda (or Mini) with a spoiler?

Hmmm, I wonder what type of car Aaron Landry drives. Not trying to connect the dots, I’m just asking.

The MN-GOP is continuing to implode, they are not only eating their own, but trying to run them over in the process.

Who was driving? Two Putz Tommy Johnson, DJZ, or Leroy Jenkins???

  16. Chris Says:

    Hey Aaron,

I just heard a slimy attack ad calling Norm Coleman the most corrupt Senator in Washington. And it was paid for by Franken for Senate and approved by Al Franken. When is Franken going to pull his false, negative ads? You should be able to ask since you’re their embedded blogger.

    Pot. Kettle. Black.

  17. Tommy Johnson Says:
    October 27th, 2008 at 8:16 PM

When you grow up, Chris – you can get a driver’s license too.

And pay attention, schmuck – that ad called ol’ Smokescreen the FOURTH most corrupt senator in Washington. But, what with Norm’s fishing pal Stevens getting the coveted “R=Convict” label behind his name, if Norm wins, he’ll move closer to Number One.

  18. Wade Seeker Says:
    October 27th, 2008 at 8:55 PM

The fourth? Jefferson, Kennedy and Reid must be celebrating!

  19. Chris Says:
    October 27th, 2008 at 9:41 PM

    Two Putz,

I have an idea about what you can do with your drivers license. I can’t wait till Norm wipes out Stuart Smalley. I’ve already started taking bets on how fast Franken moves after he loses.

  20. Thetruthisoutthere Says:
    October 28th, 2008 at 4:09 AM

We will find him, I don’t care what party the candidate was from, or what the hell was the driver thinking. Complete jackass is my description. He will be getting a visit from BP PD, rest assured.

And yes, I am a City Council here, and have already checked on it. I know both Andrew and Melissa, nobody deserves to leave this ass-clown on the road. What’s next – upset about price increase for Girl Scout cookies causing him to take out a troop of ‘em…..

Might wanna hit the gym fat ass. Standing up can be a tough one for a man of your stature.
