NEW WEBSITE EXPOSES TINKLENBERG’S RECORD AS THE HEAD OF MNDOT

By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 27, 2008

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann’s campaign has unvieled a new website which exposes Elywn Tinklenberg’s record as the head of MN DOT.

From the new website:

The Star Tribune reported in the article, ‘MnDOT swerves around the law,’ that Tinklenberg’s Department broke the law by putting his favorite consultants to work without finalizing deals or getting funding approval first.(2)

Federal authorities said the MnDOT practices appeared tainted, and ordered the state to redo its bidding process.(1) Tinklenberg claimed ‘I have personally reviewed MnDOT’s contracting practices…’(2) He knew the deal and approved it the Chicago way not the Minnesota way.” Source: www.tinkbrokethelaw.com

Please check back to Minnesota Democrats Exposed for more information on this developing story.

LOL… Wow what a stretch. Bachmann’s starting to act like Coleman and Paulsen’s campaign now. Great!

Well, when you can’t raise money, have lost all national support, and your sinking in the polls where else do you turn but the Brodkorb strategy of political ruin?

    Website my butt!

She better be doing a mass mailing to large segments of the district!

A website doesn’t do jack you know what this late in the game!

Hey Michael, Have you mentioned the bald face LIE that the “Reverend” Tinklenberg told us when he told us he wasn’t going to run for congress in 2008 ! Or how he tried to shame Patty Wetterling 2 years ago when she broke her promise not to run ? Maybe he has been attending the DFL school for lying political hacks !

As MplsSteve alludes to, it’s silly season in the campaign cycle.

She shoulda had this one out months ago; now it’s too little too late.

    Meanwhile, Bachmann’s still being ridiculed:

Talk about blowing smoke right in Elwyn’s face. It is about time this Tink got exposed.

Don’t worry Flounder, there’s plenty of ridcule for you and your libtard friends.

Elwin was way ahead of the curve for slinging mud over the 35W bridge collapse. I’m pretty sure she’ll still beat Elwin. Most of us out here know a bunch of socialists when we see them. In socialist Europe, a guy in my job would live in some shithole flat, not a nice house in the suburbs. We’re not going to sit by quietly while the class-envy gang turns us into Canada.

***I’m pretty sure she’ll still beat Elwin. ***

Yeah, “right.” And you can tell Team McCarthy Bachmann is so confident in their internal polls, they issued the Bachpology.

And there’s a reason that rhymes with “proctology” – it’s because so many of her supporters need to see one for a headectomy.

We hit this stuff back in December 2007, so now Bachmann wants to drag this stuff out 8 days out?

    Weak…

’bout time. Tinklenberg has gotten an Obama-like free ride from the local press for his time as MnDOT commissioner.

  14. Woodbury Conservative Says:
    October 27th, 2008 at 10:26 PM

The Majority of the voters from the 6th know Tinklenberg is a crook and MSNBC is a front for the Left. Tinklenberg actually resigned his position in October 2002.

Tinklenberg resignation from his job at MNDOT because of non-competitive bid contracts, exorbitant spending, and other problems he plagued the state with – we do not want this plague.

Triple A claims that “rumor has it” that Bachmann has raised 100K per day since her comments. This will be verifiable by looking at her FEC reports. I bet against this.

    http://www.residualforces.com/2008/10/27/bachmann-100k-a-day/

And he’s not too happy that Carey dissed Bachmann:

I have been just far too busy to mention this, but tonight, the Republican Party of Minnesota is toasting RINO Congressman Jim Ramstad in the same week they have let Congresswoman Michele Bachmann twist in the wind over a media set up.

Truly shameful behavior by the Party leadership. And please, trust me folks, this is not something all 3 elected leaders of the party are guilty of. Ron Carey runs this party.

Triple A: One of Bachmann’s biggest fans in the blogosphere. The other: the Admiral – who posts at Lake Minnetonka Liberty – and called for Obama’s assination has endorsed Bachmann:

Well, well, well. Looks like Bachmann opened her mouth too soon again. Seems she has ties to the same folks as Tinklenberg. Nice work Brodkorb. Are you on Bachmann’s payroll again? I thought Michele was a concealed carry permit holder? Don’t they teach you not to shoot yourself in the foot in gun safety class?

    By Lawrence Schumacher • lschumacher@stcloudtimes.com • October 26, 2008

U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann wrote a letter last year recommending a federal pardon for a major campaign contributor who was once convicted of felony money laundering, firearm and drug charges on the basis he had reformed.

This month, she withdrew that recommendation on behalf of Frank E. Vennes Jr., eight days after the FBI searched his Shorewood home and office and confiscated documents, money, art, coins and jewels that agents think may be related to a $3 billion investment fraud scheme in which Minnesota business mogul Tom Petters has been charged.
