NARN “THE FINAL WORD” TODAY FROM 3-5 P.M.

By Michael B. Brodkorb | November 1, 2008

I’ll be on the radio today for a two-hour program from 3-5 p.m. with King Banaian of SCSU Scholars on AM 1280 The Patriot. Andy Aplikowski from Residual Forces and Kevin Ecker from EckerNet will be guests of the program for the entire two hours to talk about the upcoming elections.

Before you listen to King and me, make sure you listen to the first four hours of the Northern Alliance Radio Network. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. you can hear Power Line’s John Hinderaker and Chad and Brian from Fraters Libertas. Mitch Berg and Captain Ed are on the air from 1-3 pm.

I encourage you to all to listen. Broadcasts can be heard on AM 1280 The Patriot, which has an Internet stream for those outside the Twin Cities. Brave Democrats and proud Republicans can join the conversation at (651) 289-4488.

UPDATE: Governor Tim Pawlenty was guest of the show from 3:00 – 3:15 p.m.

UPDATE #2: Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey was a guest from 3:30 – 3:40 p.m.

UPDATE #3: Congresswoman Michele Bachmann was a guest from 4:00 – 4:15 p.m.

UPDATE #4: Former deputy-press secretary for President Ronald Reagan, B.J. Cooper, was guest from 4:15 – 4:30 p.m. to talk about statements made by Al Franken this week about the Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito and the Reagan administrating being “racist and a sexist.”

UPDATE #5: Time Sanders, the GOP endorsed candidate in HD 51A, was a guest from 4:46 to 5:00 p.m.

Mike A very important thing that both Carey and Bachman were talking about. Go out and vote no matter what you think the results are going to be!

Carey talked about Florida in 2000. The media by calling Florida early, not calling Ohio which was a very large Bush win compared with other seats, Tennesse, created the impression of President Gore. Lots of people (including the Flordia panhandle which was still voting when the call was made) didn’t vote. The results:

    * Gore had a chance to play games with Florida. Just a couple of thousand more panhandle votes would’ve stopped the whole Florida recount mess.

    * The Democrats gained a lot of Senate seats, Michigan, Missiouri, Minnesota, and Washinton off the top of my head beause the Republicans didn’t go out and vote when they still had a chance to vote.

    * Gore got his popular vote victory not because more people were going to vote for him when they got out of bed, but beause Republicans who were going to vote for him just didn’t go out after hearing that Gore had won Florida.

IGNORE THE POLLS AND GO OUT AND VOTE OR ELSE YOU HELP MAKE ALL THOSE POLL PREDICTIONS COME TRUE BY ALLOWING PEOPLE LIKE FRANKEN, TINKLEBERG, AND MADIA TO WIN WITHOUT EVEN TRYING TO STOP THEM.
