COLEMAN FOR U.S. SENATE: “AT DEBATE, AL FRANKEN REFUSES TO CONDEMN NEGATIVE ATTACK AGAINST SENATOR COLEMAN’S WIFE”

By Michael B. Brodkorb | November 2, 2008

ST. PAUL – Cullen Sheehan, campaign manager for Coleman for Senate, released the following statement regarding Al Franken’s statements about the false attacks against Senator Coleman’s wife.

“Whether or not Al will own up to being behind these sleazy attacks on Senator Coleman’s wife, one thing is clear: his words tonight made it clear that he wholeheartedly endorses the last minute assault on the character of a private citizen – Laurie Coleman.”

What else can you expect from Frankenstein? Thankgoodness Halloween is over. RIP

Why again would he condemn an ad that merely shows Coleman refusing to answer a question from a report and quotes a civil complaint?

The ad doesn’t even come close to some of the mud being thrown by the NRSC.

I have yet to find a single Minnesotan (and yes, I have talked to PLENTY of hard care republicans) who think that Laurie Coleman is being unfairly dragged into this. If Norm’s sugar daddy didn’t want her involved, he could have found other ways to get him the illegal money.

But so far, the only person not to see any blame in this situation is the one guy who is actually being sued. What does that tell you about Norm’s level of responsibility when he will blame Al Franken in an outlandish plot to get litigation started before suggesting that his friend was a little to eager, and that while mistakes were made, none of the money reached him. Norm is apparently willing to go down protecting his little Iranian friend. And for that, I couldn’t be happier.

Al Frankin hates women and children so why should he care? Al is a pervert.

Norm Colmin is bought and paid for by a corrupt Iranian businessman, so why should he care? Norm is a felon.

Norm stated succinctly, and without weasel words, that he has disclosed every gift he has received as a Senator.

Now I know that honesty and forthrightness confused Al and his Dolt Corps, but plenty of voters heard it last night.

So please, go ahead and continue your scumbag commercials Al. Every time voters see it, they think to themselves “And Al thinks I’d lower myself to actually vote for him?”

Al bought a return ticket to NYC the day he decided to carpetbag in Minnesota….he paid for it last night.

He refused to condemn negative attacks because he was almost asleep when he gave his answers. Franni forgot to bring Al’s No-Doz pills.

I have not seen any attacks on Mrs. Coleman. Can someone point them out to me.

  9. Swiftee Says:

Al really got spanked last night. I’ve been hearing that his pathetic showing has changed a lot of former fence leaners into Norm voters, and a lot of former Franken voters into Barkley voters.

Norm tore the pelt right off that moonbat.

What crap. Laurie Coleman is no “private citizen,” she’s Norm’s favorite campaign prop. And she’s an alleged accomplice in this whole affair. Who are you kidding Brodkorb? I thought Norm said Franken was behind the lawsuits. Now his story has shifted to “Franken needs to condemn someone else’s ad.” What happened to Norm’s proof of Franken’s complicity in the lawsuits? Oh, he never had any? How much is Norm paying you to come up with all these different stories Brodkorb?

  11. Swiftee Says:
    November 3rd, 2008 at 3:14 PM

    Say Avidor Weiner?

Can you photoshop the look on Franken’s face while he was getting his ass handed to him last night?

    Bwahahaha!
