COLEMAN FOR U.S. SENATE PRESS RELEASE: “SENATOR NORM COLEMAN RE-ELECTED TO SECOND TERM”

By Michael B. Brodkorb | November 5, 2008

ST. PAUL – Coleman for Senate Campaign Manager Cullen Sheehan released the following statement early this morning regarding Senator Norm Coleman’s re-election to the United States Senate by the people of Minnesota:

“The Senator is thrilled and humbled to be given the opportunity to serve the people of Minnesota for another six years.  Today is a time for us to come together as a state and a nation.  There is much work to be done, and the Senator is ready to roll-up his sleeves and bring people together to get it done.”

… and will soon face ethics charges in the United States Senate. Congratulations to Senator Coleman on his fleeting victory, and hopefully for him Franken will pull an upset in a recount and Norm will not face Ted Steven’s fate (who the populace of Alaska also re-elected despite seven felony convictions, which should offer Norm little comfort).

Oy. The politicking never stops, eh?

Let’s wait until the recount is done to declare victory, shall we? Coleman may well be the victor. But he’s not yet.

This race is over. Get over it, the vicious little creature lost. Recounts never favor the loser. Look at Gore. The media has declared Coleman the winner. In the eyes of the the public Coleman won…the horrible little man lost. Deal with it.

How long are we going to have to waite until the “hanging chads” are counted? Tommy likes to count hanging nads.

Even when they win, Democrats still have to act like the ass holes they are. So much for us all being Americans together.

Michael look at the Washington Govenors race two years ago(?). Recounts until King County “found” some “uncounted” votes. Then as if by magic the Democrat won and the recounts stopped.

“… and will soon face ethics charges in the United States Senate.”

Bullshit. Those “charges” will find their way to the circular file. They’re nothing but unsubstantiated crap. Same for that bullshit suit in Texas, which will be withdrawn or thrown out soon.

Hey Lakeville Dad, how’s that incompetent idiot Colleen Rowley doing? Maybe she, you and Sarvi can go share a beer.

I have to agree with quid. Checking various newspaper disccussion boards this morning….many Democrats are still the douchebags they’ve been for the past 8 years.

Good news? I see Bobby Jindal is paying a visit to Iowa soon. Looks like campaign 2012 is getting an early start. I for one grow weary of the Obama-Pelosi administration.

  9. Leroy Jenkins Says:
    November 5th, 2008 at 9:17 AM

The AP just “uncalled” the race.

  10. Michael Says:
    November 5th, 2008 at 9:22 AM

The difference between Minnesota and Washington State is that Washington State is corrupted by the Dem machine there. Gregorie found “votes” in the notorious King County. No way that is happening in MN. The digusting little homunculai lost. Deal baby.

  11. Jeff Rosenberg Says:
    November 5th, 2008 at 9:26 AM

Michael, I’ll be happy to “deal baby” once the recount is over. You’re right that, at this point, Coleman is more likely the winner.

That said, let’s hold the celebration until the law says Coleman is the winner.

I would desperately like the slimiest campaign I think I’ve ever witnessed — slimy on both sides — to be behind us. But it looks like we’re just not there yet.

  12. LakevilleDad Says:

Anybody else get those nasty-negative get-out-the-vote calls from the Coleman machine?

  13. Chestnut Says:
    November 5th, 2008 at 9:50 AM

“Anybody else get those nasty-negative get-out-the-vote calls from the Coleman machine?”

No, but I got a bunch of push-poll calls from the Franken hate machine.

“Anybody else get those nasty-negative get-out-the-vote calls from the Coleman machine?”

What..did it suggest your 12 year old son was researching beastiality on the internet?

Or that your 12 year old son would be subjected to a man that suggested his son was a beastiality fan?

As a Minnesota parent I would not want my children to have to censor themselves when looking up the biography of a US Senator the likes of Angry Al. I’m sure that in Lakeville it’s OK to write porn, make sick jokes about others and hurl names at honest people who are conservative. In your world anything goes, I feel sorry for your kids (if you even have any). Norm won, recount the votes and you’ll find that he is our Senator for the next 6 years.

I just hope the fact of Al Franken living in a Minnesota neighborhood hasn’t hurt the property values too much onece he sells and goes back to New York and his freak liberal buddies.

King county, Hennepin county have the same machines Michael. Don’t be surprised to see a Representative from the Daley machine show up here either.
