Considering how Norm "won" in 2002 and "won" now in 2008, it would be so gratifying to see the recount result in him losing by 2 or 3 votes.

You know, with a whopping 42%, his dominant lead should not be taken lightly.

Norm's arrogance is astonishing.

Uh, normally when someone is in front with 100% of the vote counted, he is referred to as "the winner". Nothing desperate about that at all, just a recitation of the current ground truth. The desperation seems to be coming from those desperate to find a way to conjour up 800 or so votes. Check with Richard Daley, or possibly Criss Angel *Mindfreak* for some advice on how to make that happen.

There is a difference between a quality person and a quality candidate.

Mike Ciresi holds many of the qualities I would seek in a Senator. But he didn't have the desire to do the work necessary to get there. He is like the polar opposite of Al. Al may have had some less than desirable attributes, but he worked his ass off to over come those hurdles and basically tie this race.

The recount will likely go Norm's way, and at that time Norm deserves credit for winning the election. But for him to take credit for the win before the state is willing to say he won is yet another desperate move on his part. If he believes in the results now, he should remain confident and support the recount effort, not try to undermine it.

"So are you saying Norm is less than 1,000 votes better than a dead dog?"

No, I'm saying that Democrats lack any ability to vote for qualified candidates as evidenced by their rejection of Mike Cereci.

"The Iraqi government is confident that president-elect Barack Obama will not jeopardise Iraq's improving security by hastily withdrawing U.S. troops, Foreign Minister Hoshiyar Zebari said on Wednesday."

Huh. I thought Iraq was suffering under oppression and desperate as hell in getting the U.S. out.

Oh yeah, I forgot... that was another LIE peddled endlessly by fascist Democrats rooting for America to lose, and abetted by a lazy, Leftist biased media.

The DFL could run a dead dog and get 35 percent in this state. A dead dog would be infinity more qualified than Al Franken.

"His positive vision for Minnesota clearly resonated with voters.."

B as in B, S as in S.

The only reason Norm struggled against an absolute scumbag like Franken is because he doesn't reflect the strength of conservative conviction.

The two most conservative candidates, Michele Bachmann and Eric Paulson kicked moonbat ass yesterday. Because they are surrounded by so many mealy mouthed quasi-Republicans...like Carey...they now have a sysiphean task ahead of them.

Two stalwart conseervatives cannot, by themselves, stem the tide of socialist repression that will wash ashore as this country becomes an Obamanation.

They are going to need our help. It's time to clean our own house, and I'd suggest the we start with Carey.

Norm: we are watching you, buddy. Time to get off the fence and do what you said you'd do.
