Who cares what they talked about. I want both of these guys ready to work the moment the next session begins. Al is already missing out on freshman orientation this week. What is so wrong with him meeting with his new colleagues to get a feel for what to expect once he is sworn in?

God, I hope Franken wins this thing. Great to see Norm out of this. Mayb move back East. But whom ever wins remember you didn’t win a mandate. This is why we need IRV. Much more fair and gives whom ever wins a mandate. You would need to have 50% + 1 to win.

Get ready for Norm to win in Mn. and have the Dem. majority seat Al. Durkin v. Wyman NH 1974.
Read your history. Harvard alum Schumer and fellow alum. Franken will get together and get Al seated. The best hope is that they will not be able to agree on who to seat and all will agree to hold a new election next Sept. which is what was done in the Durkin case to break the deadlock. And this was after Wyman won the recount.
