Both Al and Coleman need to tell their supporters to let the system work, and accept the result. All Al wants is to make sure valid ballots are not discarded.

Thank you for supporting the Coleman position. If the election authority determines that a ballot wasn’t properly voted it shouldn’t count.

Franken is trying to two concepts which don’t meet your defintion:

* One, if it had a vote for the Democrats other than Franken obviously that voter wanted to vote for Franken should count as a Franken vote. Those votes shouldn’t count since those voters said I’m a loyal DFL voter, but I can’t support Al Franken.

* And two, ballots which were rejected like because the voter forgot to sign them to make them valid. Those shouldn’t count either.

Now since Franken is out of votes that are being counted will Franken conceed?

Classic case of the dems trying to overturn the state results of a recount. Wyman wins and Durkin protests to the dem-controlled Senate. Ended up actually looking at ballots etc. Democrats cancelled out Wyman’s recount and scheduled a new election 11 months later.

Let’s wait for the recount to be completed. There will be plenty of time to certify real as opposed to incomplete results then.
