SECRETARY OF STATE STAFF: COLEMAN’S LEAD NOW 215 OVER FRANKEN

By Michael B. Brodkorb | November 17, 2008

Secretary of State Mark Ritchie at a press conference today announcing details on the U.S. Senate recount.

It has been a very busy day for a U.S. Senate recount junkie like me.  I’m at Secretary of State Mark Ritchie press conference and staff from his office just said that U.S. Senator Norm Coleman’s lead over Al Franken is now at 215. I’ll have more on today’s recount activity later tonight on Minnesota Democrat Exposed, so please check back for an update.

I heard there was one woman in those disputed absentee ballots who’s signature was rejected, who had a stroke and couldn’t sign like before. Her vote should be counted if she looks it over and says it was hers.
