WE HAVE TWO ELECTED U.S. SENATORS, BUT FRANKEN IS TRAVELING TO D.C.

By Michael B. Brodkorb | November 17, 2008

“Although he doesn’t have a seat, Al Franken will have the floor Tuesday when he meets with Democratic leaders in the U.S. Senate.

Franken, who is locked in a mandatory recount of the Nov. 4 balloting with Republican incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman, will update Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and others on the recount process, said his spokeswoman, Colleen Murray.” Source: Star Tribune, November 16, 2008

“Coleman’s communications director, Mark Drake, upped that ante, calling it ‘highly presumptuous for Mr. Franken to undertake such a visit when his real purpose appears to be fundraising and gaining partisan advantage from non-Minnesotans.’” Source: Star Tribune, November 16, 2008

I think it’s highly presumptuous for Coleman campaign operatives to comment on Franken’s travel plans. It’s a free country, and Al Franken and even Norm Coleman can go wherever they want and a talk to whomever they please.

You guys are pretty loony. Coleman didn’t win. And how could you get a “partisan advantage” in a recount?

MDE has been way more wing-nutty than usual during this recount.

Aaron, don’t forget… if Ole Smokescreen would have lost by 1 vote, he would have immediately “stepped aside” so that Senator Franken could proptly get to work for middle class families.

There would have been no need for a recount.

Has Smokescreen’s Spokestool Mark Drake ever found one of Smokescreen’s utility bills?

Nope – they’re still at the FLS office, in all probability.

Ol’ Smokescreen is Congress’ 4th most corrupt Senator, and someday will be joining Ted Stevens in ClubFed.

Scrotee, of course, will be jealous.

FranKen acting Senatorial, get used to it!
