RECOUNT LAWYER FOR FRANKEN: FRANKEN VOTERS ARE MISTAKE-PRONE IMMIGRANTS FROM THE INNER CITIES, BROUGHT IN BY ACORN. OH, AND THEY DIDN’T GO TO COLLEGE EITHER

By Michael B. Brodkorb | November 19, 2008

Wow…if a Republican said this about the people who voted for Al Franken there would be protest in the streets. This is really brutal.

###

“Even the observers and lawyers have been instructed by their respective campaigns to not talk to the media. But Minneapolis lawyer Bill Starr, who is volunteering for the Franken campaign, was willing to say a few words. He said he thinks Franken will prevail. His hunch is based on a theory he has.

‘People who voted for Coleman are more likely to have taken the SAT in their lifetime,’ he said. ‘They’ve filled in circles. Franken voters are probably not college-educated. They’re new voters and immigrants. They’ve been brought in by groups like ACORN, from the inner cities. They’re more likely to make mistakes. I’ve bounced this off of minority people, and they agree with me.’” Source: MinnPost, November 19, 2008

He should have added to the list that Franken voters are mcuh more likely to be smoking crack.

It’s true that Democrats appeal to the stupid people, like Tommy Johnson and Dan Bromelkamp. Tommy is a painter/janitor and Dan is a houseboy for Madia.

Michael when you are going to misquote someone in the title of your blog post, i’d recommend in the future you don’t put the verbatim quote right below your exaggerated misquote, it really lacks credibility. Have you been misquoting, stretching the truth, and manipulating people’s words against them this whole election? I am shocked and outraged MBB. When Two Put says Greed of Principles, he isn’t mistaken.

Keep up the slime MBB eventually you’ll be able to seep under doors and through cracks in the wall.

So, an old man makes an unfortunate quote. I thought after this last election cycle, the republicans would be more sympathetic toward the elderly.

Bill Starr was not very ‘pc’ but, his point is true and leads to why Coleman doesn’t want all the ballots counted.

Heck, its exactly why that hateful Mary Kiffmeyer and groups like the Minnesota Majority try to do what they can to cast doubt over large turnouts and cry fraud where there is none. When most Americans participate in the process, including the poor and minorities, Republicans loose.

Look at how they’ve been squealing like pigs over ACORN yet, there has been no arrests within the group for voter fraud. Zero.

  4. Skydancer Says:
    November 20th, 2008 at 2:56 AM

I think Bill Starr is a racist bigot for suggesting that people who vote Democrat are poor, minority immigrants. What an insulting remark! I’m offended!!!

  5. hiram Says:

“It’s true that Democrats appeal to the stupid people, like Tommy Johnson and Dan Bromelkamp.”

And myself, I freely admit. I filled in my ballot with a crayon. The lawyer here has said something politically incorrect, but he is also put into words something we might all suspect is true, and is in fact the deepest fear of Norm Coleman.

Democrats may mess up their ballots more that Republicans. And if that is true, a visual inspection of each ballot may eventually put Al Franken over the top.

  6. Mike Says:
    November 20th, 2008 at 6:13 AM

Senator Al franken, the retard Senator. It’s a good thing Norm Coleman is such a liberal otherewise I wouldn’t find the Franken victory nearly as comical. Let him win so we can move on from the liberal Coleman.

  7. Fresch Fisch Says:
    November 20th, 2008 at 6:42 AM

WOW! First the Franken Campaign wants you to lose your privacy in a union vote, now they want you to lose your privacy in a state election!

I’d really be nervous if I were a union school teacher or other union member and voted for Coleman and had a rejected absentee ballot!

  8. Leroy Jenkins Says:
    November 20th, 2008 at 7:21 AM

The funniest part about Fresh Fisch’s post is how he managed to use a bunch of legitimate, real words in the English language to post something that is total gibberish.

  9. J. Ewing Says:
    November 20th, 2008 at 8:38 AM

Let’s just sum it up this way. People who would vote for Franken are stupid to begin with, and it shows.

  10. MplsSteve Says:
    November 20th, 2008 at 8:40 AM

Call Mr Starr’s remarks “un-PC”…call ‘em whatever you like, but one thing is for sure, they’re accurate.

Franken voters, are for the most part, dummies. Not so much for who they we’re supporting but in how they can’t wrap their brains around the concept of “Fill in the oval”!

They’re somewhate reminiscent of certain Florida voters who, in 2000, went as far to say “Yeah, I’m stupid. I certainly couldn’t figure out how to punch the hole adjacent to my candidate’s name”.

The typical Franken voter, besides being English-challenged, was one of those who could easily be pictured walking out of the polling place saying to his friend “Oh dude, isn’t it freakin cool? I got to vote for a comedian for US Senate also”.

I have zero level of sympathy for those out there who couldn’t or wouldn’t fill out their ballot properly. If a person can’t take the time to handle or understand a basic task like that, I don’t think they should be voting.

But then again, that’s the type of voter that Obama/Franken likes most. The inept dummy who needs his/her hand held for them for everything. And worse yet, there are posters on this site who seem to love defending idiocy and incompetence.

That, in itself, is even worse yet.

  11. jbenson2 Says:
    November 20th, 2008 at 8:48 AM

So the Franken voters are just as intelligent as these Obama voters:

If you contend that Democrats appeal to stupid people, and there are stupid Republicans, then you are saying that Democrats appeal to Republicans?

    How does that work?

Being stupid is protected by the United States constitution and the bill of rights Bozo.

  14. danbrome Says:
    November 20th, 2008 at 9:12 AM

Who are YOU to judge whether a voter should be allowed to cast their vote how ever they want.

Oh wait… now I get it. You are simply trying to make excuses for the Coleman defeat that is coming.

    Nevermind!

  15. danbrome Says:
    November 20th, 2008 at 9:14 AM

Ask around, Dan Bromelkamp is hardly stupid.

Just saying it over and over does not make it true. But they don’t mention that in Uncle Karl’s talking points now, do they?

  16. danbrome Says:
    November 20th, 2008 at 9:15 AM

I just wonder how many stupid people voted for Coleman…. more than 174?

    Franken by 503.

  17. TRUM Says:

This quote is more proof that Democrats use minorities for their own personal gain.

  18. hi-ten Says:
    November 20th, 2008 at 9:36 AM

There are some very intelligent Democrats out there…I even know and like a few. However these comments from the lawyer are clearly accurate. Take away ACORN and there massive illegitimate GOTV efforts and you have an easy clear win for Coleman. If you cannot read or understand the instructions on the ballot, you have no conscious thoughts on how each candidate can help or hurt you. YOU SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO RUIN THE ELECTION for those of us (both Republican and Democrat) who study and understand all the ramifications of the candidates issues. ACORN and their ilk are ruining American Politics. And we all will pay for it with poor governance. The informed populous should be allowed to vote. There should be a test. I could not feel more disenfranchised then I feel I am right now. IT IS SAD.

  19. Jerry Says:
    November 20th, 2008 at 10:00 AM

Shame on you, hi-ten, saying “There should be a test” before people can vote. Would you like a poll tax, too? Anything that restricts the electorate to people like you–is that what you want? You feel disenfranchised because people unlike you have voted? How selfish is that! IT IS SAD, indeed.

There is a lot of self-righteousness displayed in this comment thread. If you all are worried about poor governance, take a look at BushKatrinaIraqAfghanistanWallStreetTortureWiretap and weep.

Jerry – Self-righteousness? Pot, have you met kettle?

I don’t think our founding fathers intended to allow groups like ACORN, who hi-ten was clearly referring to, to bribe people and forge voter registration cards. Is it really the “intention of the electorate” as you say, Jerry, if groups like ACORN forge voter registration cards and top it off with bus loads of people who don’t know how to vote and have no intention of voting in the first place but are registered and/or brought to polling locations anyway in exchange for a pack of Lucky’s?

David J. Zieger is a fascist bigot, so it’s no surprise that he would defend the bigoted remarks from one of his fellow fascists.

That’s what hypocrisy looks like. I believe it was the fascist bigot, David J. Ziegler, who has feigned outrage about racist remarks in the past.

Shouldn’t surprise anyone that DJZ is a racist as well.

I helped with the recount in the warehouse that this article refers and as a Coleman volunteer, we were never told not to talk to the media. We were told if a media person approached us, we were free to comment but if we felt uncomfortable we could refer their questions to the re-count captain (or whatever they call that person) I obviously noted alot of media and TONS of ID’s with Franken attorney. LOL

When life’s lazy illiterates vote, Democrats win. I’m sure no naturalized citizen would have any problems with our ballots. My God, what does that say about our system of government? They might as well say “vote for us all you dumbasses and illegals! We’ll get more money from the productive people to keep you lazy and illiterate and voting for us!” 300,000. THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND! That’s how many Obama voters rejected Franken. We should have handed it to Coleman just for that.

  27. DJZ Says:

    Chestnut, if only you knew…

    Skydancer,
You represent the problem with America.
You have no sense of history, constitution or sacrifice.
You proclaim to love your country yet, freely show disdain and borderline hatred toward your own countrymen.

The founding fathers well, actually the framers set a voting system that eliminated everyone who was not a white, landowning, protestant, male over the age of 21. That’s how it was up until the 1830′s across the country when some white men could pay to vote and Catholics in some states. State by state it changed- slowly.

Going back to those rules would eliminate both of our Senate candidates (Jewish). It would however leave the Republican Party with one hell of an advantage by eliminating about 70% of the voting populous which, is the goal of all of the Republican cries over fraud.

I don’t know about you skydancer but, I disagree with the Republitards, but cherish the constitution and agree that every citizen has the right the vote- unless you forfeit it through crime or exile.

You’re the opposition, not the enemy. Dipstick.

Democrat or not, it’s pretty stupid quote. There’s a reason that polling consistently shows more highly educated people and those with professional degrees voting Democrat… but, yeah, let’s take a random quote by a random guy as better proof of reality.

Also, in the last 30 years there has been close to zero evidence of voter fraud in Minnesota and everytime an allegation is investigate (and, seriously, there have been close to zero allegations) no voter fraud has been discovered.

So yell and scream all you want about how stupid Democrats are and how dumb Al Franken is, but know this: when the recount is over, we will know who the legally, properly elected candidate is. And I stand by that statement no matter which candidate it turns out to be.

I think it’s quite a stretch to tell a historian that he has no sense of history. I freely show disdain and borderline hatred? You are the one showing the disdain and hatred. You are the one who hates the countrymen that disagree with your narrow point of view.

I will not challenge you on your knowledge of history, as I’m sure you are aware of the quote “Those that do not know their history are condemned to repeat it.” I think I see that you know the history and are afraid of repeating it because you’ll have no power base. That’s what scares you.

Well Jerry, you clearly missed my point completely. My comments were bi-partisan on behalf of Republicans and Democrats alike. I never said a thing about a poll tax and the test we should give at the polls is if you can fill in a circle with a marker. If you can’t you don’t get to vote. I never commented about not liking the fact that people unlike me voted, just that those who are FORCED to vote by ACORN and the like shouldn’t have to vote by intimidation. ACORN is evil and should be done away with. I am sure my new President Elect Obama is totally ashamed and embarrassed that he was ever involved with such a group of houligans.

  35. DJZ Says:

Skydancer, I don’t give a shit if you’re a historian or not. You made the following statement:
Perhaps we need to go back to the voting qualifications put forth by the founding fathers before the Amendments loosened those restrictions.

You don’t have to be a historian to understand the basic history. Until the reforms of the 1830′s, the only Americans with the right to vote were white, male, property owners, over the age of 21 and protestant.
    ——————

Its time you Rethugatards start explaining exactly what ACORN did. If you do create something, explain why no one has been prosecuted?

Why do you Righties hate a majority of Americans so much?

Also, when talking about those who actually wrote the governing document, I thought it was proper to use the term ‘Framer’ as opposed to ‘Founder’ which extends beyond just creating governing documents. What do I know? You’re the historian.

So, enlighten us, which amendments are too loose? What time period would you like to go back to? Which group has rights you disagree with? I’m sure you’ll never answer the question because now, you see how stupid it really is.
