COLEMAN FOR U.S. SENATE PRESS RELEASE: “COLEMAN CAMPAIGN ADDRESSES AGGRESSIVE AND FRIVOLOUS CHALLENGES BY FRANKEN CAMPAIGN”
By Michael B. Brodkorb | November 21, 2008

Saint Paul—Coleman For Senate Campaign Manager Cullen Sheehan today brought attention to an apparent new Franken strategy to ramp up the number of frivolous challenges made by their campaign. Results from Meeker County yesterday show that the Franken campaign challenged 51 ballots, while the Coleman campaign challenged 7.
Stated Sheehan: “In the past 24 hours we’ve noticed a shift in the number of ballots Franken is challenging – in Meeker County alone Franken challenged 51 Coleman ballots and Coleman challenged 7 Franken ballots — A difference of 44.
“Now, 49 counties have completed their recounts and presuming most challenged ballots are tossed out, we will either gain votes or it will simply be a wash-unless, of course, these are the 49 counties the Franken Campaign has accused of failing to do their jobs.
“The Franken campaign understands that it’s in their interest to challenge more ballots.. So every ballot they challenge is one less vote for Coleman and vice versa.
“Put more directly, the Franken campaign understands that with the Eagle Machine precincts done and a lot of St. Louis, St. Paul and Minneapolis already counted, the only way they can continue to show that the number is dropping is to challenge more ballots frivolously- and Meeker County yesterday was a perfect example of that.
“We expect to see a massive effort in the days ahead by the Franken Campaign to up the ante of challenged ballots. While they will tell you out of one side of their mouth their concerns about frivolous ballots, out of the other side they will be saying ‘challenge’ to any and all Coleman ballots they believe they need to disrupt a true and accurate reporting of these numbers.”

New York Norm was just on the 6:00 broadcast tv news screen covering up his Franken should concede comment, that he (Coleman) made when he said that he thought that he was about 750 ballots ahead.

Not only should Franken concede, he should get his fat ass out of Minnesota!

Mike, did the Franken challenges include ballots in which voters voted for Obama and Coleman?
Because if not, well, people in glass houses…

Franken is obviously grasping at straws..all of his gains excpet for a few came from challenged ballots…which are rarely overturned..having said that Franken only has gained 48 votesd..wit hover half counted..and most of that tin his precicnts

Why aren’t the Coleman people challenging more ballots?

Why aren’t the Coleman people challenging more ballots?
Because Coleman voters know how to fill in circles. Tax cheat voters circle little black blocks, “X” multiple spots on the ballots, or can’t find his circle. In other words, DFL voters are idiots.

A voter can be dumb, but you know what…. their right to vote is protected by the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights!
Go DFL!

Average Joe is stuck in the mud, thinking that Republicans are better than anybody else. He actually thinks that a state of all Republicans would be better than a diverse group of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents.
Go figure!

I wrote here that I worked the recount in Stearns County. for the life of me, I can’t imagine there being 51 legitimate challenges in a county.
Wednesday, I was part of the Krueger-Fobbe SD-16 recount in Morrison County. We had approximately 1,400 ballots to sort through. In that time, we had 2 ballots challenged. Actually only one because a ballot had filled in the oval for Alison & Fobbe, which both sides agreed shouldn’t be counted because it was an overvote.
BTW, with the way they’re figuring this, that 51-7 challenge margin will temporarily shrink Sen. Coleman’s margin by 44 votes. I’d be shocked if 45-50 of those challenges aren’t rejected by the Canvassing Board.

danbrome, Republicans are not better than everybody else, they simply have the best political philosophy. We actually believe in a strong military, capitalism, less taxes for all, judges that follow the constitution, law and order, and basic morality. As Rush says, we need to leave a few leftys around just to remind us of how dangerous their ideology is to our country and our individual liberties.
I also believe that only people who pay taxes should be able to vote to raise them.

I truly feel sorry for you Naomi. I mean that.
For you to suggest that voters who do not pay taxes should not be allowed to vote is incredibly ignorant.
And please spare the group ANY REFERENCE TO ANY WORDS UTTERED BY THE BIGOT RUSH.
Like I said, I feel very sorry for you.
Have a good life with your Republican heroes.
