A MESSAGE FROM MDE

I am excited to announce that starting today, I will be the communications director for the Minnesota Senate Republican Caucus (H.T. to MN Publius who posted about my new job only two hours after I signed paperwork at the Minnesota Senate – a little creepy, but I know I’m being watched.)
Since the ideas and opinions expressed on Minnesota Democrats Exposed are exclusively my own (expect comments left on my posts by other bloggers and interested parties), I will continue posting on my personal blog.
I am not now, nor have I ever been paid to blog. I am under no legal obligation to disclose a professional relationship with a campaign, political party, or political caucus on my personal blog. But I have repeatedly stated that if I am hired by a campaign or political party, I will disclose it on Minnesota Democrats Exposed.
Minnesota Democrats Exposed is not created, endorsed, sponsored, or authorized by any political party, candidate, or candidate’s committee. It’s all me and now Ryan Flynn and I am very proud of Minnesota Democrats Exposed.

Congratulations Michael! Or, more appropriately, congratulations to the Minnesota Senate Republican Caucus on the excellent hire. You did an outstanding job for Erik Paulsen turning what was supposed to be a close race into a comfortable win.
The Senate Caucus has not done very well of late, that was especially true under Dick Day. So I’m glad to see they are finally taking their responsibility to win election seriously.

Seriously, Mike, I’m happy for you and all. You have been unemployed for awhile and have mouths to feed. But is this the best they could do after all your hard work. I had you going to Washington on Paulson’s staff. This must really be a let down for ya!

Yes, Michael, you are being “watched”. A few weeks ago I was talking about the Franken-Coleman count with some friends within earshot of some reporters and they all squinted like they smelled a fart when your name was mentioned.
That must mean you are doing a good job.

Up and coming and know that you will add much needed direction in the Senate Caucus, especially in getting out a “unified” message rather than “mixed signals” during campaigns. See you on Saturday.
