DUPLICATE BALLOTS A “BIG ISSUE”

Cindy Reichert is the elections director for the City of Minneapolis and has stated that this issue of duplicate ballots is a “big issue” and that she knows “it happened in several precincts.” Source: Pioneer Press, December 19, 2008
I don’t really want to double up on what Michael had stated this morning but this goes precisely against the issue of accuracy that has been talked of so much throughout this process. It also says that some votes matter more than others.
Cindy Reichert has said this is a problem, what is she doing to convey what she knows and make sure this recount is an accurate recount?
This process should be as transparent as possible, when our local election officials speak up, shouldn’t the State Canvassing Board listen?

Seriously.. when the local election officials speak up and say ballots should be counted because they were inappropriately rejected shouldn’t the canvassing board listen and count them?

Judy, sweetie, please tell us again how this fiasco pertains to Bush-Gore. There was no official recount done with Bush-Gore, sweetie. Do you not know how to read? And yet the 3 un-official recounts that were done (unlike only one here) all showed that Bush won, sweetie, remember? So nothing was “stolen” in that election, unless you can show us otherwise, ok,sweetie? We`ll be waiting!
