AM I THE 3RD “WORST POLITICAL PERSON” IN THE ENTIRE STATE – AGAIN?

By Michael B. Brodkorb | December 31, 2008

The first year I was #1, but for the second year in a row I’m #3 on the list from the Minnesota Network for Progressive Active Blog of the “Worst Political Persons in Minnesota.”

“#3. Michael Brodkorb. Brodkorb has become a folk hero to the GOP faithful, especially those who like that down and dirty style. And Brodkorb has been rewarded in a sense, getting a job with the State Senate minority caucus. Which means we will probably have more of that tactic in our future. The deep opposition research…. the character assassination…. the off topic maneuvering. So, you will probably see Brodkorb high on this list for the foreseeable future.” Source: Minnesota Network for Progressive Active Blog, December 31, 2008

Under the Orwellian logic of liberal-progressive democrats being “worst” is defined as being most effective against liberal-progressive democrats.

  2. BC Says:
    December 31st, 2008 at 1:01 PM

Then again, worst might mean inaccurate, deceitful, most committed to bringing dialogue to its lowest level.

  3. Greg Lang Says:
    December 31st, 2008 at 1:02 PM

How about the “progressive” hired by one of our local institutes of higher learning to teach politics who stole political signs and blogs about it on the Huffington Post stating that it was the most exhilarating political act of his life?

  4. Judy Says:

You’ll always be number 1 to me sweetie. Happy New Year.

  5. D Says:

No, BC. “Worst” in terms of the list and the author is defined as:

Biggest threat to the liberal/socialistic values of the DFL party and its misguided/brainwashed lackey supporters

Michael may be the 3rd worst political person, but he takes the gold metal when it comes to planting campaign signs on public policy, and then lying aboout it.

Isn’t there a Perkins in Eden Prairie?

  7. Greg Says:
    December 31st, 2008 at 2:07 PM

    Michael

Congratulations for being #3. B52 drivers in WWII had a saying, “If you’re taking flak, you’re probably over the target”. Keep up the good work.

  8. Greg Says:
    December 31st, 2008 at 2:13 PM

    danbrome

Half of your posts are incoherent: “…gold metal???…campaign signs on public policy,??? and then lying aboooooout it” ????

…another fine example of the standards of excellence in our public schools?

    #3?

    You’ve been slighted, Mike.

But a new year is neigh and I remain confident that you will again earn the coveted position of #1 most hated man in Minnesota by the moonbat hoards.

  10. danbrome Says:
    December 31st, 2008 at 2:34 PM

    Greg..

Sorry for the errors… we all make mistakes, even Democrats.

By the way, I never attended a public school, having graduated from St. John’s Univertity with honors and a mathematics degree.

  11. D Says:
    December 31st, 2008 at 2:56 PM

You should sue to get your tuition back, dan! Especially when you screw up the spelling of the word “university”. Lawyer up and get that money back.

  12. Mark F. Says:
    December 31st, 2008 at 3:24 PM

Greg, the B-52 came along after WWII, with the initial design contracts being let in 1946 and the model entering service in 1955. But the point of your comment is vaid. Yes, danbrome slipped on the spelling of university. Swiftee wrote “neigh”, the sound a horse makes, when he meant “nigh”, drawing near to. How about we skip the fussing about minor typos and facts not central to the arguments? How about we tone down the insults about sexual activity and orientation? I know it’s frustrating, and I don’t expect the leftist moonbats to stop frothing at the mouth, barring a dose of rabies vaccine, but we can try to be civil for a brief period.

  13. Richard Says:
    December 31st, 2008 at 6:34 PM

I don’t expect the leftist moonbats to stop frothing at the mouth,

“May God bless and keep all of you, and hold you in the palm of his hand – this day, and every day.”

See? *That* is what separates us.

Blow me today, and tomorrow, moonbat hypocrites.

    Swiftee

  14. David McGuire Says:
    December 31st, 2008 at 6:50 PM

Now if you can only get Keith Olbermann to honor you as his “Worst Person of the Day.”

  15. Pete F Says:
    December 31st, 2008 at 7:52 PM

danbrome “I never attended a public school, having graduated from St. John’s Univertity with honors and a mathematics degree.”

Wasn’t the movie Rainman about danbrome?

  16. J.L. Says:
    December 31st, 2008 at 8:58 PM

Judy, sweetie. You`re #1 to me, too. Can you see me holding up the middle finger of my left hand in the universal “you`re #1 salute”?

MDE should give out its own awards to slimy liberals. Rachel Hetland (aka Mrs. Dan Pollock) would top the list, as well as many associated with the dirty campaign of Asslick Madia.

Dan Bromelkamp should be recognized for “his queer eye for the big lie.” The award could be some KY for his sore brown eye.

  18. George Judd Mowry Says:
    January 1st, 2009 at 9:00 AM

Congratulations, Michael!! May this year bring special success to you and the GOP.

    Keep up the good fight!

    The liberals are slimy?

What does that say about you, Richard, DBCS, and of course Pete?

  21. Richard Says:
    January 2nd, 2009 at 8:33 AM

Maybe I should’ve been a little more clear with my post. The first statement is something about “leftist moonbats” frothing at the mouth. The second and third statements are “rightist wingnuts” clearly frothing at the mouth. Sorry for the lack of clarity.

  22. Pete F Says:
    January 2nd, 2009 at 8:36 AM

danbrome, you are becoming obsessed with me. Time for you to move on since I have made it clear that I am not your type. Geez!!

  23. danbrome Says:
    January 2nd, 2009 at 1:20 PM

Richard.. clarity? Your last comment makes no sense, since all those in your second and third staements are Democrats.

Are you all boozed up again?
