MUST READ EDITORIAL FROM THE STAR TRIBUNE: “COURT REVIEW IS KEY IN SENATE RECOUNT”

By Michael B. Brodkorb | January 5, 2009

“But as several of the judges who sit on the board pointed out during their proceedings, there’s only so much that an administrative, vote-counting body can do. The Canvassing Board lacked the authority to order county election officials to act. It could not conduct evidentiary hearings, take testimony or make findings of fact.

Courts alone have the legal standing to do those things. That makes the judicial branch best suited to pass judgment on which remaining rejected absentee ballots should be counted. The courts can better determine whether some ballots were double-counted, as the Coleman campaign claims. They can better decide how or whether the 133 missing ballots in Minneapolis should be counted.

Both Franken and Coleman should want court-ordered answers to questions that the Canvassing Board could not answer. The winner of this contest deserves the legitimacy that would come with a court’s politically independent finding that he got more votes than his opponent. The loser deserves to know that every legal ballot was counted and that he came up short.” Source: Star Tribune, January 5, 2008

The Avista Capital Partner’s propaganda tool, the Strib, is a wingnut joke.

They gave Coleman, and his landlord, a free ride all election long. They even put a puff piece that had no resemblence to real journalism on the front page two weeks before the election.

The Strib is to newspapers as Fox is to television.

Only on planet Tommy is the Strib a rightwing rag.

HaHaHa now that’s funny. No wonder everybody laughs at you on this board. You are a total tool and a fool.

You underestimate Michael’s ability to grieve.

I would put him well past denial, and solidly into the bargaining stage right now, where he and his handlers are willing to try anything to make the outcome change.

You’re half way to acceptance, Michael. Keep a firm upper lip.

    Tommy:

“Red StarTribune”, “StarLibune”, etc. Ever hear of those names regarding the Strib? The StarTribune long has been and continues to be an ultra liberal publication.

Question for you Tommy, as far as claiming that you are a “business owner”, what’s the difference between you and a ten year-old kid running a lemonade stand?

Answer: The ten year old lives upstairs, while you live in your mommy’s basement. You also eat more Cheetos.

Yep – sure did. That’s what the Strib was called, BEFORE Avista Capital Partners bought it.

Do try to keep up, chump.

11:00 pm, and the CEO of Cheeto boy & Sons, Inc. is still at his milk crate desk, pounding out an asshat dance on the internet.

7:00 am finds the top executive of Cheeto boy & sons, Inc. back at it, re-writing the same asinine crap.

No snow again last night, eh Cheeto boy?

Listen, you’re never going to get that driver side window fixed if you are not out plowing parking lots, dolt.

If there’s no snow, why not drive around and collect aluminum cans from peoples’ trash cans?

What kind of CEO are you, Cheeto boy?

    HAHAHAHAHAhahahahaa!

  11. Tommy Johnson Says:

I checked the alleys for cans, Scrotee, and the cans were all knocked over.

You musta been drinkin’ and drivin’ – AGAIN.

Good, contest it, Norm. Or don’t contest it. Either way, you are not going to continue to serve Minnesota in the US senate.

If there is no contest, Norm lives to fight another day, and Al is seated in the senate. If he contests, he will lose, and will be seen by all Minnesotans as a sore loser, and the litigious weasel he is. THEN he will have to pay ALL the legal fees, leaving him less for his upcoming corruption proceedings.

    Win-win for Minnesota voters.

Oh, so no luck there, eh?

Weeell, how about windows? Does Cheeto boy & Sons do windows? How about hauling trash? You could specialize in trash, Cheeto boy,

See, what I’m getting at here is this; Cheeto boy & Sons not only doesn’t make money filling the internet with asinine comments, no one cares what the parking lot plow truck guy thinks.

Now I know your mom feels sorry for you, and raising that brood of Downs syndrome heirs you and your sister made can’t be easy, but you’re not going to ever move out of moms basement if you don’t get out there and pick up some trash, or plow some snow….so get to it, boy!
