GOVERNOR PAWLENTY INTERVIEWED BY MARC AMBINDER
By Ryan Flynn | January 21, 2009
Governor Pawlenty is out in Washington this week participating in the Inauguration of President Barack Obama. He granted an interview with Marc Ambinder of The Atlantic that is a must read.
###
“So what brings you to Washington?
It’s important to send the message that we’re behind this new president as best we can. And be united, and this country comes together in a communitarian moment.”

Does Timmy pant like a dog in heat when he sees a “journalist” or a microphone or a tv camera?
Two words for Timmy: SHUT UP.

Interesting. Who knew that TP was a “communitarian”? That’s rather radical, quite frankly, for a GOP’er. Shall we commence a discussion (civil, please) on the movement of communitarianism?

Good question ladybug.
TP said “communitarian moment”, not “communitarian movement.”
The interview was conducted on the 19th. The communitarian moment referred to the 20th when $200 million of “our” money was spent on the biggest hip-hop party in history.
(I’m trying to catch up MDE for the day. Did Tubby Tommy get scared and runoff to Canada again? Tubby Tommy is yella!)

I’m still here, SlowSlime.
BTW – T-Paw said on TV yesterday, and I don’t have the exact quote, that the GOP needs to change and become relevant in today’s world.
IOW – today’s GreedOverPrinciples party, with jerks like you as the base, is nothing but an annoyance for the adults in charge.

“I’m still here”
Where is here, Tubby? Down in your mommy’s basement trying to meet 12 year old boys on line?

Say, SlowSlime? Thanks for proving, once again, T-Paw’s point.

ladybelle, T-Paw has always – at least, as it appears to me – tried to position himself as a “center right” guy, so his used of “communitarianism” doesn’t surprise me at all.
Quite frankly, “communitarianism” has aspects certain to completely (deleted, per your request for civility)-off extremists on both the far-left and the far-right fringes, which is an indication the philosophy has merit.
This comment about communitarianism by T-Paw, along with his TV appearances, demonstrate he is trying to move the party more to the center. His comment that the Party had to “get over Reagan and become relevant” (not an exact quote) surprised me.

typos!
But, his comment that the Party had to “get over Reagan and become relevant†(not an exact quote)surprised me.

Tommy
What did “T-Paw” say about you and young boys?
