Interesting comment Kathy. Are you saying that Walz bought the election? Did you accidently let the truth out? Please provide a source for your claim that Walz bought 30 points.

Tim Walz beat Brian Davis buy 30 points. Davis was lucky to get 32% of the vote. All he had to run on was the GOP Talking Points he was trained to run on when he attended the NRCC Candidate School. “DRILL HERE! DRILL NOW!”

Tim has much support amongst Republicans here in the 1st Congressional District. Such a sacrilidge! That Republicans support Tim Walz. I know who those Republicans are, what they donated to his campaign, and they are safe with me.

You know one of my friends reminded me that Walz never claimed to be a Blue Dog Democrat. And that he supported gun rights in D.C. Whether we like it or not, he’s earned his NRA stripes — as opposed to his skeet shooting opponent whose only stance in favor of the Second Amendment was filling out an NRA questionnaire.

I’m just disappointed that it appears neither Walz nor Pawlenty is running for governor in 2010.

Somehow I think the only reason this letter writer voted for Walz was because the GOP candidate was so incredibly weak. If we make the same mistake again, Walz will be in Congress for life.

This is exactly what Walz learned to do when he attended Camp Wellstone 4 years ago. This “nonpartisan” organization trains DFLers running for office in the art of fooling voters into thinking that they are “moderate or conservatives” when they are far more liberal Democrat Super Partisans.
