IN TIME TO VOLUNTEER FOR DFL CAMPAIGNS, SARAH JANE OLSON RELEASED FROM PRISON
By Michael B. Brodkorb | March 17, 2009
The terrorist know as Kathleen Soliah/Sarah Jane Olson has been released from prison. Will Soliah/Olson resume her volunteer involvement with DFL campaigns?
“Olson lived a quiet life in St. Paul as an actress, DFL activist and a mother until her 1999 arrest, when her true identity as 1970s revolutionary Kathleen Soliah emerged. She was convicted in a failed plot to blow up two Los Angeles police cars and for participating in the bank robbery. She also helped the SLA hide kidnapped newspaper heiress Patty Hearst in one of the most celebrated abductions of the century.” Source: Star Tribune, March 7, 2009

The DFL will probably put her up as a candidate.
March 17th, 2009 at 2:22 PM
I am sure she will have no problem being able to vote.
March 17th, 2009 at 3:05 PM
“I am sure she will have no problem being able to vote.”
Good point, HF! No doubt Mark Ritchie is hand-delivering her a voter registration card even as we speak.
March 17th, 2009 at 3:08 PM
She is a convicted terrorist and shouldn’t see the light of day. Terrorists should serve their entire term without chance of parole.
March 17th, 2009 at 4:34 PM
Who the hell cares who she volunteers for? Are we REALLY going to start playing the guilt by association game? Did, for example, Coleman renounce the child molester who apparently voted for him?
More importantly, are organizations (churches, shelters, community organizations) now supposed to turn away former criminals who have served time who want to volunteer?
I for one am glad you bafoons continue to blow what little political capital you have on meaningless stupid wedge issues. And yet you act shocked at the fact you are barely even a margin influence on state politics.
March 17th, 2009 at 4:48 PM
Where were all you geniuses pointing out that she was a felon on the run when she was living here for 23 years?
Seems to me since you all apparently knew she was a felon in hiding, you are complicit in hiding her crimes.
March 17th, 2009 at 4:54 PM
Can she even vote for her party next election? How long before a convicted felon can vote for the democrat socialist party again?
March 17th, 2009 at 4:59 PM
Maybe we should ask the convicted child molester who voted for Norm in the past election how long he had to wait to vote and then have his vote counted and never questioned by Norm or his lawyers.
I am guessing minutes.
March 17th, 2009 at 5:14 PM
Don’t you have to wonder just how crazy Leroy must be to write stuff like?:
“Seems to me since you all apparently knew she was a felon in hiding, you are complicit in hiding her crimes.”
I mean really, how can your mind possibly work to think like that?
March 17th, 2009 at 5:29 PM
“convicted child molester who voted for Norm”
Do you believe the child molester? Of course you do…..
March 17th, 2009 at 6:18 PM
I can give the DFL a pass on her work for them before her arrest and conviction, and the benefit of a doubt that they didn’t know about it. I can only dream that DFLers would welcome back a high-profile convicted domestic terrorist.
March 17th, 2009 at 8:37 PM
Well, I guess this is something for Republicans to talk about instead of the budget. I wonder what will be next.
March 17th, 2009 at 10:05 PM
Let’s get back to the lost contest.
Anybody?
March 18th, 2009 at 12:22 AM
PD – If she wants to volunteer she can do so in California. Maybe at a prison! And yes, people who associate with known terrorists are guilty by association.
Leroy – Recently you were complaining about the # of cops in St. Paul. More targets for Soliah?
Exposer – Everyone knows you’re Tubby Tommy. Please go away.
danbrome – Are you talking about the contest to see who’s the biggest dumbass to post on MDE? You won that one months ago.
March 18th, 2009 at 2:11 AM
MDE Exposer,
There is no moral equivalence between harsh comments (referring to a civil war) and people trying to blow up cop cars and kidnapping Patty Hearst. Considering some of the comments you’ve left here, you have no room to talk about threats you f-ing hypocrite.
March 18th, 2009 at 8:19 AM
Is there any difference between a democrat and a republican saying that someone they disagree with deserves death?
Apparently on this blog there is.
March 18th, 2009 at 8:34 AM
Leroy, you jackass, do you have proof that the child molester voted for Norm?
There is proof that he voted. As far as who he voted for, the only thing to go on is the words of a convicted child molester.
Are you not outraged that a convicted felon without voting rights, was able to vote? The only reason this issue came to light was due to the fact, that said child molester casually mentioned to his PO that he had voted.
I commend the PO for turning him in. If it was a PO in Hennepin County or Ramsey County .. they may have turned a blind eye to the matter.
Leroy, you jackass, it appears we agree on something: Convicted child molesters should not have the right to vote!
It is Mark Ritchie’s fault that he was able to cast a ballot.
So, Leroy, you jackass: Do you think that this convicted child molester should be able to use the internet to meet more youngins?
March 18th, 2009 at 8:40 AM
I still don’t get how one anonymous person (who we have absolutely no reason to believe is a republican) posting a goofy threat …. justifies Soliah murdering somebody.
… someone should do a study on just how convoluted the democrat mind is…. They will go to any length to support one of their own.
March 18th, 2009 at 8:45 AM
Did anyone check to see if there were any absentee Franken ballots postmarked from a California prison?
March 18th, 2009 at 8:47 AM
“Well, I guess this is something for Republicans to talk about instead of the budget. I wonder what will be next.”
GAY MARRIAGE!!!!!

What a shocker.
March 18th, 2009 at 9:23 AM
I could definitely see her and “crazy” Coleen Rowley getting together to wave signs on freeway overpasses.
March 18th, 2009 at 10:50 AM
MDE Exposer,
You are back with another idiot post. How come you didn’t answer my question the last time you posted something that was a total lie?
You are a clown!
March 18th, 2009 at 11:57 AM
Pete-
Do you have proof that the child molester DIDN’T vote for Norm?
For a campaign that claimed they wanted all legal votes counted, and used the court to try and add as many votes as they could, they flatly rejected the idea of issuing a subpeona for the criminal in question to see if he did vote illegally.
March 18th, 2009 at 12:20 PM
I’m stating for a fact that Leroy voted for Lizard People and following Leroy’s “logic” unless he can prove otherwise (which he can’t), it’s true.
Who’s stupid idea issuing a subpoena did they wisely reject?
…. and what would a subpoena accomplish?
March 18th, 2009 at 12:54 PM
Leroy, no I do not have proof as to who you voted for but I always assumed that you voted for Al Franken based on your posts here. Is that enough proof for you?
March 18th, 2009 at 1:59 PM
Chile-
I did vote for Al Franken.
I am just saying it is hard to make a case for wanting only legal ballots to be counted when you refuse to investigate an allegation that an illegal vote is working in your favor. Apparently Norm only wants illegal votes for Al Franken removed, but he is fine accepting the convicted child molester’s vote.
March 18th, 2009 at 3:02 PM
MDE Exposer,
It’s amazing how you can draw any similarity between a sharp comment on a website and the attempted bombing of police cars, the murder of folks in a bank robbery and the kidnapping of Patty Hearst. So FU!
March 18th, 2009 at 4:04 PM
Leroy, you jackass,
The ballot went through. It should not have done so. There was no way to identify the ballot after the fact. Why not?
Tommy Johnson – you sound like the “Exposer” Im sure that MBB welcomes your far let opinions. Why be a fake.
Tommy, it’s obvious that you want to keep posting here without your criminal record being mentioned. I won’t bring it up again and I ask other posters to do the same.
March 18th, 2009 at 4:06 PM
Pete-
So, when you say the ballot was accepted and there is no way to remove it now, would you also say that about the ballots that the recount panel allowed to be counted that now Norm is using as his base for appealing his pending loss in the election challenge?
If so, I assume you will be leading the charge in asking Norm not to appeal?
March 18th, 2009 at 4:24 PM
Leroy,
Your point is correct ….. you and Norm agree that illegal ballots have been counted and can’t be “uncounted”.
It’s sweet to see Norm and you on the same page.
The result is that it can not be determined who received the most legal votes in this election.
Ritchie let this felon’s and God knows how many other illegal votes count.
March 18th, 2009 at 7:28 PM
Don’t worry. Since this isn’t a real concern of Michael, I guess he is cool with it being sent around to the 21 Senators who compose his caucus’ membership. And, becaue including the capitol press corps in the distribution takes only a few extra clicks of the keyboard, well, I suppose that can happen too.
Since Michael sure seems to like to see his name in print and his face next to Exme Murphy, I am sure this is just the sort of thing that will make his week.
You’re welcome, Michael.
March 18th, 2009 at 7:51 PM
Leroy, what are you smoking?
March 18th, 2009 at 7:56 PM
Better be careful Leroy. I hear there’s a gross misdemeanor penalty for interfering with the employment of a state employee. Michael is apt to turn you in!
March 18th, 2009 at 8:14 PM
Telling the truth about Michael’s moonlighting activities is now illegal?
Wow. Bush was more powerful than I thought.
March 18th, 2009 at 9:19 PM
But you are not telling the truth about anything Integrity. You never do.
March 18th, 2009 at 9:19 PM
Or should I just call you Nancy?
March 18th, 2009 at 9:42 PM
No, Leroy, I’m just saying that Michael is apt to turn you in for interfering with his employment. Don’t worry, you’re not the only one from what I hear. And what does this have to do with Bush anyway? Can’t you people get over your Bush derangement syndrone?
March 18th, 2009 at 10:19 PM
So, Chris. As a lawyer, your legal opinion is that it would be against the law for me to report a crime if the criminal were a state employee?
That is baffling, even for you.
March 18th, 2009 at 10:35 PM
Leroy,
Don’t be asinine. In case you haven’t figured it out, I think it’s ridiculous for any state employee to enter the fray but complain when people go after them. If you can’t take the heat, then stay out of the kitchen. In case you haven’t figured it out yet (and apparently you haven’t), my original comment about interfering with employment wasn’t directed toward you.
March 18th, 2009 at 11:47 PM
Pete..
Integrity does not even have an entry on this thread. But still, your personal attacks persists.
It’s clear the loss by the conservatives in November has cause you to become unhinged.
I will keep you in my prayers.
March 19th, 2009 at 7:30 AM
danbrome, go ahead and pray for me to your god. Since your god does not exist no one will hear. I will continue to pray for all people of your ilk to the one God.
March 19th, 2009 at 7:32 AM
danbrome, integrity/leroy has several posts on this thread. You are clearly confused.
Please continue to think conservatives are becoming unhinged. It makes our job in 2010 that much easier.
March 19th, 2009 at 9:45 AM
Pete..
Something to think about…
I have lunch with Integrity occassionally, and don’t know Leroy from the man on the moon.
I think you perception is flawed, but what’s new?
March 19th, 2009 at 10:01 AM
It’s important to forgive people.
March 19th, 2009 at 4:00 PM
My perception is no more flawed than Leroys is danbrome. Maybe you can ask him how his mind works.
