By Ryan Flynn | June 3, 2009

In talking with my capitol sources, Representative Marty Seifert will step-down as House Minority Leader at 11:00 a.m. so he can campaign for governor.  Please check back to Minnesota Democrats Exposed today for breaking information and for a list of who’s in and who’s out as a candidate for governor in 2010.

Ryan, my sources at KSTP told me that about 10:05 PM yesterday, – via the television.

MARTY! MARTY!(not John Marty) MARTY! MARTY! (not John Marty) MARTY! MARTY! (not John Marty)…

This is the only negative side effect of the Governor’s decision.

He was a hapless caucus leader, and, when you have someone like that in a position of power, it is always nice to see them stay.

At least we still have Senjem.

    hapless: Luckless; unfortunate

Leaders do not depend on luck.
