Now we have a GOOD conservative female in the race. Not a fake one like Brod. And Pat has won a statewide race before.

Pat would have beat that fraud Becky Otto too if it hadn’t been for the toxic political climate. Becky is an awful State Auditor, it is a crime she has EVER held elective office.

No kidding. Same for Mark Richie, possibly the worse statewide elected office holder ever. Total fraud and fake. A poser.

Mark Ritchie can hold his head high, knowing that he did everything in his power to deliver a fair and accurate vote count. The people of Minnesota can be proud of his dedication during the recount.
Anybody heard when Former Senator Coleman might announce for Governor?

Yeah, danny…you should be proud. Ritchie and his drooling fools from Acorn (also known for bilking millions of tax dollars to support Dems to get elected) were able to rig the results of the recount.
Bravo.

Wow. It is like we have stumbled across a new Fox Reality Show.
Minnesota’s Biggest Republican Loser.
I love when you add new contestants. It is almost as if you secretly desire a democratic governor.

Mr.,
This from the party of John Marty, Roger Moe and Steve Kelley.
June 17th, 2009 at 6:29 PM
My point exactly.
The parties seem to have exchanged places.

Then again I am usually wrong. I never really have a point, I just repeat whatever my leader tells me to say.
It sure is boring during the off season.

I like Pat and all, but I don’t think she is electable. Yes, she won a state wide auditor’s race… I don’t think the majority of people even know what a state auditor is… Beyond that, she barely won to get in there and then got killed by Otto… So I wouldn’t hang my hat on the state wide race victory. Christ, Ritchie won a state wide race!!
I believe there are other more electable candidates. Laura Brod, Steve Sviggum, and Paul Kohls. I also have a sneaking suspicion that Joe Mauer is a GOP guy, he’s a win hands down but he has other things to do right now… Like hit 400.

There is hope for the Rep. party if someone like Pat runs … she was an awesome Mayor and took her job as Auditor seriously (unlike the Dem’s before and after her term). Let’s face it —-great leaders aren’t well liked by even their own party. Why? They lead to serve the long-term greater good of this state and country- not special interest groups. Pat Anderson has and will do just that – LEAD. Go Pat Go! Run Pat Run! Win Pat Win! You’ve got my vote and I’m not committed to either party – I vote for the person.

Pat is a great candidate. As State Auditor, she exposed the dirty filthly contracts that local school boards hand out to dirty filthy school administrators.
Under the Education Minnesota endorsed Otto, school superintendendant salaries have sky rocketed.

MinnyDem,
I couldn’t agree more with your comment “one crook follows another.” But I don’t think Mr. Leeroy Jenkins would appreciate what you said about him. It’s nice to see our friends on the left be honest about themselves.

Well, like I said, I like Pat but I don’t think she can win. If she gets the nod, I will be her biggest fan. I just don’t think she’ll get the nod. And I don’t think she should.
Obviously Pat is light years better than Otto. Pat was just a casualty of the wave. Much like Kiffmeyer was in the SOS race. Like I said, voters mostly don’t know what an auditor is, so I’m sure a majority went with party ID. And incumbency in a State Auditor’s race doesn’t matter. Nor does name rec because it doesn’t exist.
I want to be like Johnny Drama on election day with this race. VICTORY!

Already beat by the DFL. Please nominate her. I think she will struggle raising money and hit the wall when she comes in middle of the pack if Repubs have a straw poll later this year.

AC, f*ck PETA. The purpose of shooting pigeons is to kill them. If that process pisses off PETA, it’s icing on the cake.

Sorry, wrong thread.

Right is Right is obviously the Chorus of the GOP “moderate”, “progressive” liberal wing of the Republican party. Here we go with the same old song again: “We can’t win unless we are democrats”.
Anyone who wants the same things as the “moderates” can get those things by simply voting for Democrats. The thing about the 2006 election that no one in the Republican party wants to admit is they lost because most Republican voters were so disgusted by elected Republicans that they stayed home.
Pawlenty only won by 20,000 votes. I’m willing to bet those votes came from Democrats who couldn’t stand the idea of Hatch as governor. Republicans couldn’t see an actual Republican on the ballot and stayed home.
If the Republican Party establishment offers one of the “Moderates” suggested by Right is Right above, I predict we’ll stay home again, as we did with McCain.
