ENTENZA THINKS HIS LIES FROM 2006 ARE “…A SMALL FACTOR IN HIS 12-YEAR RECORD”
By Ryan Flynn | June 22, 2009
Matt Entenza thinks his lies from 2006 are “…a small factor in his 12-year record.” Click here to read a background document from the Republican Party of Minnesota about Entenza’s lies from 2006.

“But people active in policy making know who he is, Entenza said.
Entenza, who at the last minute pulled out of the attorney general’s race in 2006 after revelations concerning his hiring of a Chicago-based firm to investigate Hatch damaged his campaign, indicated a willingness to abide by the DFL Party endorsement under certain conditions.
‘I intend to abide by it as long as all the other major candidates abide by it,’ he said. ‘I think it’s important for all of us to play by the same rules.’
He learned from the Hatch incident, said Entenza, and deemed it a small factor in his 12-year record.” Source: ABC Newspapers, June 17, 2009

Unfortunately politicians don’t get to deem things. That’s what voters do.

Hiram hits one solidly there.
While Entenza can dismiss the blemishes in his record, using any language he “deems” fit, the voters get the final say.

I am a life long democrat. I have voted party line for all of my life. If Matt Entenza is the endorsed candidate, or God forbid he wins a primary, I will actively work for and vote for a Republican for Governor.
He is a liar. He is using the ill gotten backdated stock options from UnitedHealth, and he can not be trusted.
He should wake up and realize that being governor is not a hobby for a spoiled rich adult, but rather it’s about the citizens of Minnesota who deserve better than he has to offer.

For liberals a candidate who lies gets bonus points as long as they hold the right views.
He is a slimey candidate that reminds me of the days of crooked, on-the-take politicians from old St. Paul (or current Chicago politicians).

Average..
You mean Norm?

I suppose each of us has one theoretical last straw that will break a camel’s back. How strange it is, that in this case, the straw turns out to be Matt Entenza.

brome,
Your obsession with Norm Coleman makes me wonder…

Average Joe, in #4, don’t limit it to current Chicago politicians. They’ve always been corrupt. It’s not a new thing.

Liberal Dan,
No, I mean slimebag Matt. Not Mark Richie or Al Franken, either, almost both fit the same category.

Entenza’s lies go back a lot further than 2006. Rest assured, there are plenty more lifelong Democrats like btwobomber out there who will do everything it takes to end this creep’s political career.

Matt’s not my favorite politician. But I won’t do everything it would take to defeat him.

I will support the DFL endorsed candidate no matter who it is, every good DFL’er understands that party comes before the people.

I have never once voted party line in an election.
I’ll leave it up to the readers to decide which of these posts is me, and which is Elton Fordyce, the comedian once known as Petef.

Mr.,
That begs the question, who was the last Republican you voted for? My guess is Dwight David Eisenhower, but I could be wrong.

Chris..
I voted for Gerald Ford (vs Carter), Jim Ramstad (many times), and Norm Coleman (vs Skip)…

I voted for Ed Matthews this past election over Betty McCollum. I didn’t particularly like either candidate, but I disliked Ed less.

So, in other words, Mr. only votes for Republicans when it doesn’t count.

I also voted for Mary Kiffmeyer the first time she ran. I had a very nice chat with her while she was campaigning, and she appeared to be competent. Only after she got into office did I see that she was a better candidate than a Secretary of State.

Has “Matt” Entenza received an endorsement from former Senator Larry Craig yet?
June 24th, 2009 at 7:49 PM
Greg Lang, he received an endorsement from someone almost as bad, Mike “free the man” freeman today.
