UPDATE: MDE EXCLUSIVE: DATA PRACTICES REQUESTS FILED TODAY REQUESTING COPIES OF CERTAIN REJECTED ABSENTEE BALLOTS
By Michael B. Brodkorb | June 25, 2009
I want to update the dedicated readers of Minnesota Democrats Exposed on the status of my data practices request for the front side of all ballots relative to the 2008 U.S. Senate general election contained within rejected absentee ballot envelopes in the possession of certain county/city offices that were not submitted late and were not submitted by persons who otherwise voted in the 2008 general election.
I have received responses to all of my requests for public data and every county and city has denied my request. I’m reviewing my options and I’ll have updates on this subject in the next 24 hours on Minnesota Democrats Exposed.

Damn liberal conspiracy!
June 25th, 2009 at 1:49 PM
Ryan..
Didn’t anybody ever tell you that a single sentence with 67 words will be ignored? If not, now you know.
June 25th, 2009 at 2:01 PM
Liberal danbrome, Ryan didn’t submitt that post – Michael did. Now you know. You’re an idiot!
Liberal danbrome, obviously you didn’t ignore it, you buffoon.
June 25th, 2009 at 2:04 PM
oh my lord that sentence was terrible and it went on forever and it wandered and rambled and then it changed subject without any punctuation ooh look, there’s a dog, and what was I saying, oh yeah, I need to include some double negatives to make it more confusing, I wonder what I should have for dinner tonight, and then I will try to make it sound all formal and lawyerly with heretofores and therfores and the word persons, purple monkey dishwasher, oops, I’m starting to use commas, what’s next a period, no not yet I can keep going and at least I capitalize the word “I” properly, and oops, it’s after 2:00 and I am late for a meeting.
June 25th, 2009 at 2:23 PM
Like I said earlier, Michael will be perfect in his new job.
Ryan, I apoligize for having confused you with Michael.
June 25th, 2009 at 2:51 PM
Liberal danbrome, you’re the one who thinks “irregardless” is a word, yet you want to play the role of grammar nazi?
BTW, “apoligize” isn’t a word either.
Liberal danbrome: Uneducated Fool!
June 25th, 2009 at 3:21 PM
LOL Uneducated… right.
June 25th, 2009 at 3:24 PM

June 25th, 2009 at 4:09 PM
Liberal danbrome, how does one go to Catholic schools and end up being pro-abortion?
Didn’t anybody ever tell you you’re going to hell? If not, now you know.
June 25th, 2009 at 4:11 PM
Liberal danbrome: CINO (Catholic in name only)
June 25th, 2009 at 5:20 PM
chile, your assumption that hell exists is the flaw in your argument- not that it makes danbrome any less of a typical liberal hypocrite.
June 25th, 2009 at 5:59 PM
Just because he went to Catholic schools doesnt make him Catholic necessarily. The odds are he is but that is another assumption you are making.
June 25th, 2009 at 6:17 PM
Alan, if you want to pretend hell doesn’t exist, knock yourself out. Hold on to that promise of 79 virgins while you’re at it.
Andrew, danbrome has stated he is Catholic. But danbrome has also state his a a moderate, non-gay Democrat … so I see you’re point.
June 25th, 2009 at 7:50 PM
Where did I ever say I was Catholic?
Idiots.
June 25th, 2009 at 7:55 PM
Where did I ever say I was pro-abortion?
be careful here, because you will never find a post where I said that.
Idiots.
June 25th, 2009 at 7:56 PM
I have said I was not gay, as my lovely wife can attest to.
June 25th, 2009 at 9:13 PM
Liberal danbrome, Idiot
“I’m not Catholic?
LOL ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !”

And your current denial of that only proves that you are a pro-abortion gay.
June 25th, 2009 at 9:30 PM
chile..
you are truly a funny guy, but a total dumb ass at the same time. You never CAN find a post to prove your point, can you?
LOL
June 25th, 2009 at 9:30 PM
You are too phucking stupid to understand even what a denial looks like. I’m amazed one person could be so stupid.
June 25th, 2009 at 9:37 PM
Where did I ever deny I was Catholic?
If there was no denial, then there is no proof of anything you dumb ass.
Does your Mother know you are a crossdresser? Maybe you should tell her so she can lend you some garments on the weekends.
When did you decide to become an ax murderer and vite Democrat? Aren’t you worried that when this gets out that you might have to come clean?
It’s sad to think that your deviant behavior is blurring your vision when it comes to your sexuality. I’m fine with you being a crossdresser, but you would really hurt your Mom if you admitted to it.
June 25th, 2009 at 9:57 PM
Liberal danbrome, that’s two rant-a-thons in row. Wow.
What is a “vite democrat.” Is that what you liberals are calling yourselves these days.
On January 11, 2009 – danbrome says: “Regarding my new boyfriend, I suggest you find a way to explain it to my wifeâ€

by Monica Crowley
02/13/2009
In 2001, when President Bush’s chief political strategist Karl Rove moved from the campaign into a senior position in the White House, the Left went mad: how dare they “politicize” the White House, they yelled. During the 2004 presidential campaign, they went wild with accusations that Rove (and by extension, Bush and Cheney) were working hand-in-glove with the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth to try to sink John Kerry’s candidacy.
That was not true, of course, but that hasn’t stopped them from making the accusation to this very day.
In 2006, when President Bush’s Justice Department exercised its prerogative to dismiss seven U.S. attorneys, the Left screamed bloody murder. They yelped that it was the obscene politicization of the presidency. Rove and his evil band of conservative operatives had to be stopped, they implored, mainly to each other.
And yet.
Nobody has said a word when Barack Obama’s chief political strategist, David Axelrod, was brought into the White House in a senior position.
Nobody has said much when The Bama moved the U.S. Census from the Commerce Department to the White House, to be overseen by partisan attack terrier Rahm Emanuel. Congressional redistricting (and whether Republicans will be apportioned more seats in places like Utah, for example) and the allocation of federal money hang in the balance. This is why the Census was kept in the Commerce Department: to make sure it was immune from partisan influence. Until now.
Nobody has said much when The Bama brought into the White House counsel’s office a 29 year old campaign operative, Shauna Daly. Her job is one they’ve created just for her: “White House Counsel Research Director.” She holds no law degree and has zero legal training. So what will she be doing on our dime? Digging up dirt on Republicans. She’s a longtime opposition research specialist.
And nobody has said much when Rahm began coordinating 527 group attacks on Republicans from the White House. According to http://www.whorunsgov.com, The Bama’s supporters, AFSCME and the labor-backed Americans United for Change, are beginning a major advertising blitz aimed at Republicans who oppose the $1 trillion socialist nightmare. The White House was told in advance about the ads, which go much further in their attacks on Republicans than The Bama has gone publicly. The White House gave its tacit approval to the attacks.
This is all very “Mr. Emanuel, in the West Wing, with the Candlestick.â€
If President Bush had politicized the White House in this way, everyone from Nancy Pelosi to Keith Olbermann would be calling for his impeachment.
Lesson for Republicans: enough already with the virtues of “bipartisanship.” The Bama and the Democrats have no intention of being bipartisan with you. They are doing everything they can to destroy you.
As soon as you realize that The Bama and the Dems just aren’t that into you, the faster we can nurse the Party and the conservative movement back to life.

To paraphrase Ms. Crowley above. It’s time to take off the gloves, spit on our knuckles and face up to the fact that we are either going to take a beating or give one. Either way we are going to get down in the dirt.
So, do we want to win or not?
June 26th, 2009 at 1:23 AM
brone,
Does your wife know you use such foul language? If you are Catholic, you need to go to confession. If you’re not, you should anyway. If you need to use obscenities to make your point, your point isn’t worth making. Then again, it rarely is.
June 26th, 2009 at 3:13 AM
The real issue is you’re gay.
June 26th, 2009 at 9:10 AM
What evidence do you have that Chris (or chile for that matter) is gay?
June 26th, 2009 at 10:53 AM
brone,
So now that you’re done swearing (for now), you’re resorting to ad hominem attacks. (If you don’t know what ad hominem attacks are, I suggest you look it up.) For someone who thinks he’s on the side of the rest of the whole world, you do a helluva poor job representing them. If I were you, I’d be careful the next time the Kool Aid gets passed around.

United States Republican’s exposed as habitual adulters.
June 26th, 2009 at 3:43 PM
Is it safe to assume that you GOP apologists are hoping that Governor Sanford resigns his Governor’s seat?
June 26th, 2009 at 4:07 PM
Why should Governor Sanford resign? How is this a Minnesota issue?
Shouldn’t Minnesota Democrats be more concerned about how much damage control they will need to do if Al Franken ends up in the U.S. Senate?
June 26th, 2009 at 4:08 PM
What are you going to do with a few Absentee Ballots?
Get your feet on the ground and your head out of your ass. It’s done. It will be ruled upon at any moment. Here’s the Truth for a change.
Eventually, the whole Truth and nothing but would surface.
This began with the close Election.
The ballots mandatory recounted.
The Board Certified winner was announced.
Transitioned into an evil, ill-conceived, hate-motivated Election Contest.
Dissolved into a blatantly obvious Bad Faith based, GOP-sponsored, slush-funded conspiracy to delay the swearing-in and seating of the rightful Democratic winner of the Election.
Decomposed into a pathetic, meaningless, time-consuming, political obstruction ploy and successful delay tactic which would, when fully played-out, be presented to the Minnesota Supreme Court, thinly disguised as a bona fide Appeal of an undaunted crusading politician intent on rescuing a hand-picked number of “Disenfranchised†absentee voters whose ballots were rightfully rejected three times.
The Supreme Court Justice’s wouldn’t allow this Case to be heard without first sanitizing away the political and hateful filth and stench of the unscrupulous camouflage of bad faith and disingenuous righteousness that had attached itself to the original Election Contest.
Once the matter had been cleansed, and brought full-circle from being deformed and bastardized by the GOP Senate Committee, solely intent on employing any means to not seat any additional Democrat, but particularly this Election’s legitimate winner, and returned to its original form of straightforward Election Contest; a Minnesota Supreme Court Justice rebuked Joe Friedberg, lawyer for the Appellant Norm Coleman, articulated about how absolutely ridiculous, Appealing this extraordinarily weak, wholly unproven and dreadfully detestable case – was, in the first place!

Liberal danbrome, did you notice Dick Massey’s last sentence. 83 words. Tsk-Tsk.
Dick, while most every liberal and his brother tries to emulate Garrison Keillor’s overuse of five-dollar adjectives, you really suck at it.
June 26th, 2009 at 5:30 PM
Dick
You provided opinion. Nothing more.
June 26th, 2009 at 11:08 PM
I’m sure Richard Massey could write 100 word sentences about how Bush ‘stole’ the election in 2000. I’m also sure he would have been first in line telling Franken to appeal all the way to the MNSC if Al was behind 300 votes. Such hypocrisy…
Chill and get a life dude!
June 26th, 2009 at 11:10 PM
“sanitizing away the political and hateful filth and stench of the unscrupulous camouflage of bad faith and disingenuous righteousness that had attached itself to the original Election Contest.”
Sounds like a great description of Al Franken trying to explain why he didn’t pay his taxes.
June 27th, 2009 at 12:44 PM
job10, “hateful filth and stench” could be referring to Al Franken’s promotion of rape.
June 29th, 2009 at 12:29 AM
dambrone,
Once again you dodged any relevant issue that was presented against your ridiculous comments. The only apologist here is you: and you’re an apologist for the farthest left of the left wing of the Democrat party.
I have not heard one person, besides Gov. Sanford, suggest that he should not resign. It’s only liberal Democrats who don’t ask their politicians to resign after they get into trouble. An example of this is the John Edwards saga. I will say one thing about Gov. Sanford: at least he didn’t use sympathy for his wife to further his political career at the same time he was cheating on her.
June 29th, 2009 at 2:06 PM
Looks like Leroy is back.
June 29th, 2009 at 2:47 PM
redhype, “peace has broken out everywhere”?
You mean like, Iran, Israel, and Mexico?
June 29th, 2009 at 11:22 PM
John Edwards is an embarrassment to the Democratic party. His boorish behavior was both brazen and cruel to his wife, and ended any hopes he had of being a factor in the future.
