D says:

Here’s the Sutton/Brodkorb team’s first challenge:

Please…PLEASE…convince Coleman to just go away! PLEASE!

He lost 2 out of 3 statewide elections, one to a rasler, one to a homophobic hate merchant. And probably would have lost to Wellstoned! if not for Rick Kahn and the loonies at Williams Arena.

Please…just ask him to go away. Please

Proud Republican says:

Do you really believe that is in the best interest of the MN GOP? If you do this may explain why we haven't had a Dem Governor for at least 16 years. You call Rick Kahn a loonie even though Franken is more loonish than our state bird. In this mega liberal environment don't you think that the Republicans likely will find much overall strong support for a conservative moderate, decent pro-life problem solver? The economic crisis's vacuum was the only reason for Obama's huge shift in support. It was aided by a tentative media (sadly the media does play a big part in what we weigh as news, go figure) and a run of coincidental happenstances that so ill favored the GOP that it was probably in that a Obama win was in the cards just before the presidential election. Norm Coleman is I believe if I understood from yesterday's speech... has gone fishing again today. You see this is an important skill for the job of MN governor.

D also says about Coleman:
"He lost 2 out of 3 statewide elections,"

He beat Walter Mondale even after a tremendous liberal unifying grass-swellroots wave less than two weeks before th election. Norm Coleman as incumbent St Paul mayor also beat his democratic opposer in his second term's mayoral race by over %20 of the vote. The liberal trend run is coming to its completion within this political restructuring cycle and now the pendulum eases back if only moderately. Larry Jacobs probably even can admit that Coleman has good prospects. The investigation of Coleman's receiving legally complied suit gifts and his $600 rent a room in DC will end up hurting the Dems.

Al Franken will really hurt the Dems brand. How long before he goes into his thunderous terrible two's blunderings? The clock is ticking. Keep buying my friend D. Please PLEASE! Keep buying that the Dems will keep growing and growing. It's fools like you who vote blindly democrat anyways: clueless.

Oh, by the way congratulations Mr. Sutton and Mr. Brodkorb!

Wow, I guess "bringing people of both parties together" includes allowing GOP amendments to be heard?

Oh...I forgot...that sound bit of yours only works when Republicans are selling out their souls for your collectivist purposes. Silly me.

Integrity..

I'm afraid Chris thinks every Democrat is a left wing wacko, incapable of seeking common ground with Republicans.

I applaud your effort to bring people of both parties together to solve big problems.

Chris-

You're "they did it so why can't I do it too" argument is a bad one. That didn't work on your mom when you were 5 and it doesn’t hold any water here either. I just told you that I voted for Ramstad, who I believe was a good representative from a district that has many people in both parties.

The DFL supports Democrats, in the same way that the MN GOP supports Republicans. I am talking about people, like you and me, as individuals, moving past partisan politics and into discussions about real working solutions to our problems. You can sit back and continue to oppose everything, or you can be the one to cross the party line and start the trend that you obviously want to see happen.

Integrity,

I have a question for you: when have Democrats in Minnesota ever crossed the line to join Republicans to get things done? And if you can name an occasion, can you tell me whether the DFL supported those folks or criticized them?

The fact that Ramstad would have crossed party lines to work with the Democrats instead of being blindly opposed to everything is the reason he was and is still so respected around the state of Minnesota and the reason why during his service to Minnesota, so many Democrats, including this one, voted for him in the 3rd district.

Here's the Sutton/Brodkorb team's first challenge:

Please...PLEASE...convince Coleman to just go away! PLEASE!

He lost 2 out of 3 statewide elections, one to a rasler, one to a homophobic hate merchant. And probably would have lost to Wellstoned! if not for Rick Kahn and the loonies at Williams Arena.

Please...just ask him to go away. Please.
