I’ve long though registration would be a good way to cut down on the liberal trolls (like danbrome, AC, and toofattommy) who comment under multiple names.

    Sign me up!

Will someone please educate me. What does “comment registration” mean? I have my own opinion of what it means but what does it mean here?

  3. danbrome Says:
    July 2nd, 2009 at 3:51 PM

danbrome has never posted under any other name, AND YOU KNOW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Focused on 2010 Says:

Who cares. It’s like I told my kids long ago. If someone keeps saying something about you that is untrue and you keep responding who is the idiot, you or the other kid?

Respond once, set the record straight and move on. Of course I did tell the boy one time to punch the kid out. It was, in my opinion, worth the 3 day suspension.

    Liberal danbrome, you’re a liar.

  6. DJZ Says:
    July 2nd, 2009 at 4:36 PM

Ummm, its about time. Will we be able to see who everyone really is? Or, will MDE (ie the MN GOP) have the names and addresses in vault somewhere?

  7. Focused on 2010 Says:
    July 2nd, 2009 at 6:48 PM

Let it be known that a liberal was the first to ask for peoples names. Facism marches on.

  8. chile Says:
    July 2nd, 2009 at 7:20 PM

2010 – DJZ has all of brown shirts washed and pressed – ready for whatever personal information he can collect on us.

  9. DJZ Says:
    July 2nd, 2009 at 8:03 PM

seriously? I’m concerned about Fat Tony harping me for cash to make up for 19th infraction on the MN GOP campaign finance form.

Right now on MDE as is, its harder to find someone than it would be after registration. Then an individual would have a couple of ways to track you down.

The authors of MDE may want to think about this. This is their Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell moment. They are going to be shocked with number of us on the Left who don’t have a problem using our real name and standing behind what we say, as opposed to the Chiles, Focused2010, Chestnut and Average Joe who will disappear.

  10. Focused on 2010 Says:
    July 2nd, 2009 at 8:17 PM

    DJZ,
Lets take a poll, how many of you liberals who post on false or just partial names are willing to post your real name?

    Ok, now do it.

  11. chile Says:
    July 2nd, 2009 at 8:42 PM

DJZ, before you start crying about black helicopters, why not wait until you see what registration involves?

MDE now exists at the pleasure of Ryan and Aaron.
If you don’t like the registration process – don’t register.

  12. Focused on 2010 Says:
    July 2nd, 2009 at 9:47 PM

I don’t see any of your buddies willing to jump on the band wagon DJZ. Hell, even you post using your initials, whats up with that?

  13. Yoda Says:
    July 2nd, 2009 at 10:11 PM

I cannot wait to register my new name as Chile.

  14. DJZ Says:
    July 2nd, 2009 at 10:21 PM

Let’s see, David J. Ziegler is well known. So, I’ll probably sign up.
    Dan Brome- another one.
Two-Putt Tommy is also well know.
    A.C. are his actual initials.
Jeff Fecke uses his real name.

I’m sure your mothers named you chile, chestnut and Focused2012.

That’s why I think they’ll change their mind. Fat Tony will inform them that they will loose their most colorful supporters on here, and gain the libs blasting truth all over the place.

  15. Focused on 2010 Says:
    July 3rd, 2009 at 8:54 AM

It would be great to have “libs blasting truth all over the place” instead of you guys DJZ.

I’m still waiting for all these people you mention to start posting under their real names DJZ. Why would they wait for a bunch of conservatives to force them to do so if they are as eager as you say they are?

How long do we have to wait DJZ? You haven’t even started posting with your real name.

  16. DJZ Says:
    July 3rd, 2009 at 10:15 AM

    Touche’ nowFocused2012.

  17. chile Says:
    July 3rd, 2009 at 11:48 AM

DJZ, Greg Lang, Mitch Berg and Drew Emmer use their names. Probably for the same reason Fecke does – do drive traffic to their blogs.

Dan Brome is not the real name of danbrome.

AC – real initials? Perhaps but big deal.

“twoputttommy” hasn’t posted in over a year. He outed himself by cross posting his LTE which was signed Thomas Johnson. Tommy Johnson did post here for a while but went away months ago. He now posts as “MDE Exposer”

So much for your list, loser.

  18. DJZ Says:
    July 3rd, 2009 at 5:25 PM

    “loser”?
Go back and check the results from the last two cycles.
    The loser be you.

  19. Focused on 2010 Says:
    July 3rd, 2009 at 8:39 PM

The country has lost as a result of the last two cycles. I guess that means we are all losers but the errors will be corrected in 2010 and 2012.

  20. Proud Republican Says:
    July 3rd, 2009 at 10:17 PM

DJZ that “hate speech” goes against your party’s heavy regulation of free speech.

Can you all say with me this word
    one…
    two…
    three! B-U-B-B-L-E…..Bubble!
It is a liberal bubble caused by irrational exuberance.

  21. Proud Republican Says:
    July 3rd, 2009 at 10:23 PM

Oh, I would just die if someone found out who I was oh my god my life would be so ruined! Oh the sleepless nights the fear and dread!

Here’s hint number one (for last name)– What instrument did Louis Armstrong play?

Starts with an h….you figure out the rest. Oh and my first and letters of my first name are E and l.

    Make me sweat.

  22. Proud Republican Says:
    July 3rd, 2009 at 10:25 PM

I meant to say the first and last letters of my last name…

  23. DJZ Says:
    July 3rd, 2009 at 10:27 PM

    Elwood Blues?
    Elwood Trumpet?
    El Horny?

  24. AC Says:
    July 4th, 2009 at 10:40 AM

Yes, my initials are “AC” and I will register. How about you “Focused on 2010?”

I think this is a good think, because when people like me, danbrome, DJZ, etc. start getting contacted at home out outside of this blog and it gets nasty, at least the authorities will no where to start looking – this blog and the the state GOP who is in charge of it.

This is a good thing. It will make the state GOP more responsible for the content on their blog.

  25. Ryan Flynn Says:
    July 4th, 2009 at 10:46 AM

Just to clarify, registering just means having an active email address that the server can reach you at.

People are still free to be anonymous.

  26. Focused on 2010 Says:
    July 4th, 2009 at 11:37 AM

Isn’t it a little early to be hitting the booze?

“I think this is a good think”

“at least the authorities will no where to start looking”

I will never post under my real name. I have had to change my phone number and make it unlisted due to harrassing phone calls. I have had threats made against me on various websites by liberals who don’t agree with my opinions or dislike me posting factual information to support what I post.

    Have a nice Independence Day!

  27. Focused on 2010 Says:
    July 4th, 2009 at 11:39 AM

Thanks Ryan. That is a very reasonable request.

  28. chile Says:
    July 4th, 2009 at 1:23 PM

AC, don’t worry, you’ll still be able to post under multiple names.

  29. AC Says:
    July 4th, 2009 at 5:25 PM

Gee, focused on 2010. Sounds like you might be admitting that your are Pete/Elton Fordyce?

  30. Focused on 2010 Says:
    July 4th, 2009 at 6:13 PM

Why are you trying to divert attention from chile’s comment about your posting under multiple names by making wild claims about me? Sounds like chile is hitting you pretty close to home AC.

  31. chile Says:
    July 4th, 2009 at 6:37 PM

AC, 2010′s story is not unique. I had to change my number and have it unlisted years ago, after I had a LTE published in the StarTribune. One deranged liberal caller told me what type of a dog I had and threatened to kill it.
