MDE EXCLUSIVE: EXPLOSIVE PROBLEMS ON PLATO BOULEVARD?
By Ryan Flynn | August 4, 2009

I have been inundated with information from a variety of sources since my post went up yesterday on Minnesota Democrats Exposed which asked questions in response to allegations made against the Minnesota DFL by a liberal blogger.
According to multiple sources, including Democrats, the Minnesota DFL is potentially facing organizational and legal issues that are quite frankly, very explosive.
Here is a summary of the information I am hearing from my sources:
- There is an impending unresolved tax issue that could be a problem for the Minnesota DFL relating to non-payment of payroll taxes.
- The DFL is facing a potential FEC fine for reportedly commingling state and federal campaign funds.
- DFL Party Chairman Brian Melendez recently sent a communique out to a DFL party leadership list taking elected officials to task for not pulling their weight within the party. My sources are saying that there are high ranking elected officials that are furious with Melendez.
This is explosive information and I will be working the phones and sending e-mails over the next few hours in an attempt to get more specifics. This will remain the top post for the remainder of the day, so please stay tuned to Minnesota Democrats Exposed for more information on this developing story.

Doug Grow? What, no credible independent sources?
August 7th, 2009 at 11:53 AM
Well, being how he pretty much the only person NOT affiliated with this blog, then yes, I guess he has to pass as an independent source. Do you have any indpendent sources to back up the other side of the story?
Like I said, I’m going to wait for the rumor mill to quite down. When the FEC says something official, then I’ll listen to these allegations.

Good idea. I can only assume you will give Republicans the same consideration when they are accused of wrong doing.
Like the rumor that Norm Coleman is being investigated, you will wait until the FBI actually says something official about investigating him for wrong doing, right?
August 8th, 2009 at 4:34 PM
Sure, I can wait for the official investigation on Coleman to come out. But so far, there have been too many lawsuits and FBI agents refusing to confirm or deny investigations for me to totally ignore those allegations against him. I can’t stand Coleman, I think he is a weasel, and I think the FBI probably is looking into him and his associates. But unlike you, I recognize that those are my beliefs and feelings and may not be fact. Yet.

The FBI does not confirm or deny investigations so no matter what you will not “totally ignore those allegations against him”.
The “A” in AC must stand for Airhead, what does the “C” stand for?

Focused on Pete,
What do you mean the FBI doesn’t confirm or deny investigations? Of course they do. They confirm and deny all the time and they usually do that once they are locked-in on something. When they refuse to confirm or deny, it usually means they are looking into it, doing their homework, and deciding what to do next.
The FBI DENIED that they were investigating Palin. Look it up.
The FBI CONFIRMED that they opened a probe into whether or not Roger Clemens lied to Congress.

Can’t find a thing on those AC. Got any links to support your claims?

That took me all of a minute. So how dare you criticise me for being lazy and uninformed for not using Google. For crying out loud, I told you what to search for and you can’t find it.
Pete/Focused, you fail.
