MDE EXCLUSIVE: DUSTY TRICE’S VIOLENT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND

    By Luke Hellier | October 5, 2009

Minnesota Democrats Exposed has recently obtained public records detailing a violent criminal incident involving DFL Blogger and former Al Franken staffer Dusty Trice.

Click here for page #1 and here for page #2 of the public documents. Excerpts are below and the shocking details need no commentary.

Mr. Trice plead guilty to a charge resulting from this tragic incident and was sentenced to 60 days (stayed for one year) in the workhouse and ordered to pay a fine.

Minnesota Democrats Exposed has blocked out the names of the other parties involved in this disturbing incident.

Dusty “grabbed her arm…”, “drug her from the bathroom…”, “grabbed the same right arm and was pushing her against the wall…”

Dusty “grabbed her by the arm and drug her back into the apartment”…and Dusty “pushed her down several more times.”

“There were several bruises on the inside upper bicep area and there looked to be imprints of fingers…”

In the last few months, Minnesota Democrats Exposed has received multiple reports of Mr. Trice’s rude and questionable behavior at public events across Minnesota.

Please check back with Minnesota Democrats Exposed for more information on this developing story.

I can see the steam coming off his bald head when he reads this.

      Questions:

How long will it take the lefty blogs to fire back with. “Oh yeah, when Luke was 16 he attended an R rated movie and he wasn’t accompanied by an adult”?

Will Jeff Fecke blog about this from his super-sensitive feminist point of view?

Did Al Franken* hire Dusty Trice before or after he was convicted for beating up a girl?

Should Michele Bachmann hire a fulltime bodyguard?

      Dusty Trice had a girlfriend?

      Ruh-Roh.

Just to be clear, Mr. Trice pleaded guilty to disorderly behavior/conduct:

      Point duly noted.

So, did Al Franken* hire Dusty Trice before or after he was convicted of disorderly conduct (as a result of a plea agreement that resulted in assault charges being dropped)?

      October 5th, 2009 at 3:58 PM

Pretty obvious, based on this, and the way Dusty treats Michelle Bachmann on his website – he has zero respect for women. I can see why Al hired him…two peas in a pod.

Really not much of an exclusive since he disclosed this front and center on his blog back in April. He was even kind enough to provide a link to the to the court records.

      How is this exclusive?

Dusty been banging Michelle pretty hard lately and this is supposed to make him back down?
Let me explain what’s going to probably happen now. Bloggers will now be the targets- not what they write but who they are. Can’t find anything on them, check out their spouse, or parents or siblings.

Bravo Skywalker. In less than a week you’ve been able to set the tone even lower than Brodkorb was able to do. So, who’s next?

You’d think a party that has endorsed and elected Republicans convicted of tax fraud, biggest campaign finance violations in MN history, sex offender, a corrupt convicted law enforcement officer, child abuser and wife beater all to the legislator in the last seven years would understand one time is a mistake- not a characteristic.

Let’s see who can name all of those family values conservatives.

“Dusty been banging Michelle pretty hard lately”

Well, it looks like he’s had plenty of practice.

    8. chile Says:
      October 6th, 2009 at 9:39 AM

DJZ, Dusty’s post on the issue only admitted to a disorderly conduct conviction. He mentioned no specifics.

From what he has stated, readers might brush this off simply as a shoving match in a bar. What he deliberately omits is the fact that he was charged with assault, where it is alleged that he used physical force on a woman and left her with injuries.

DJZ, it’s quite sad, and totally predictable, that you would condone such behavior.

    9. Hector Says:
      October 6th, 2009 at 10:43 AM

I don’t know if this sort of dispute between bloggers is of much general interest.

    10. TJSwift Says:
      October 6th, 2009 at 1:50 PM

“Will Jeff Fecke blog about this from his super-sensitive feminist point of view?”

HA! I’m guessing that the next time Feckless Jeffy and Trice cross paths, Jeffy will beat Trice senseless with his honorary uterus.

    11. chile Says:
      October 6th, 2009 at 6:38 PM

Hiram, the police report didn’t mention anything about the victim being a “blogger.”

    12. Hector Says:
      October 6th, 2009 at 7:51 PM

then why am I reading about it here?

    13. chile Says:
      October 7th, 2009 at 7:06 AM

Hiram, Why are you reading about it here?

Check it out on City Pages! http://blogs.citypages.com/blotter/2009/10/gop_blogger_hel.php

    14. Hector Says:
      October 7th, 2009 at 7:21 AM

Well, to be absolutely truthful, I am not. Personal squabbles between bloggers on the internet are a temptation, I think, should be avoided.

    15. chile Says:
      October 7th, 2009 at 7:41 AM

Hiram says: “Well, to be absolutely truthful, I am not.”

Then why did you ask: “then why am I reading about it here?”

Getting back to Dusty’s behavior, do you find it acceptable. If not, why are you spinning this the topic of this post into a “personal squabble”.

    16. Hector Says:
      October 7th, 2009 at 8:06 AM

Well, I read enough to know that I didn’t care. Let’s go back to attacking people that matter, Democratic politicians.

    17. chile Says:
      October 7th, 2009 at 8:17 AM

Hiram says “Well, I read enough to know that I didn’t care.”

Yet he takes the time to post in defense of an apparent wife beater. I suppose you are defending Roman Polanski as well.

    18. Hector Says:
      October 7th, 2009 at 8:33 AM

I am not defending anyone here. I am just noticing that a blog that previously had addressed issues of Minnesota politics and politicians now seems to be devoted to somebody’s personal agenda. That’s probably not the way to go.

    19. chile Says:
      October 7th, 2009 at 10:27 AM

Hiram, in case you didn’t notice the name of the blog is Minnesota Democrats Exposed. Is Dusty a Democrat? Why yes he is, and in fact a former Franken* staffer.

“I am just noticing that a blog that previously had addressed issues of Minnesota politics and politicians now seems to be devoted to somebody’s personal agenda.”

Do you really think that three posts in three days about DFL Dusty’s criminal record means that MDE has abandoned it’s core mission of exposing Dirty DFL politicians? If nothing else MDE has provided a valuable public safety alert. The stalkerazzi that is Dusty Trice has now been exposed, and the potential threat this guy poses is something his targets should take seriously.

“Do you really think that three posts in three days about DFL Dusty’s criminal record means that MDE has abandoned it’s core mission of exposing Dirty DFL politicians?”

I think it suggests that someone is off to a less than great start.
