BREAKING: CANDIDATE RYBAK PULLS OUT OF HUNGER FORUM
By Luke Hellier | October 13, 2009
As I reported last night on Twitter, RT Rybak was supposed to be part of the bi-partisan gubernatorial forum on hunger next week. Â Tom Scheck from MPR is now reporting Rybak has dropped out of the event.
RT was recently part of a campaign expenditure complaint by the Republican Party of Minnesota for using his campaign funds for mayor of Minneapolis on his campaign for Governor.
Did Rybak’s campaign finally realize they had made several mistakes with his campaign expenditures and needed to conduct damage control?
More to come. Â Check back to Minnesota Democrats Exposed.

I, for one, was eagerly looking forward to hearing the mayor’s views on hunger, in whatever forum he chooses to express them. I hope he reconsiders.

Hiram, did you notice that Chris Coleman was scheduled to be part of the forum? Since he announced he’s dropped out of the governor race (for now anyway) he’s dropped out of the hunger forum too.

I would have been interested in hearing Chris’ views too.

Hiram, both RT and CC would have said the same thing: They want more money and we need to raise taxes.
