Do you think the stature of the United States was stronger when George W. Bush was our Commander in Chief?

P.S. damnbrone,

If our stature in the world is so great, why did the U.S. and President Reagan get zero credit the other day at the Berlin Wall ceremony celebrating twenty years of the Wall coming down?

damnbrone,

Apparently you graduated from the Jimmy Carter (aka Cracker Jack) School of Economics. A weak dollar causes rampant inflation, higher interest rates and bigger deficits. The reason oil is $80 a barrel right now instead of $50 a barrel is because the dollar has plummeted. And gold is at an all time record high. No economist I've ever heard says these are good signs. It's sad that you're such a brainwashed meathead you can't even see your president's and congress' policies are harming our country and our standing in the world.

Chris, your point about the dollar being dumped as the world's reserve currency is spot on. (I was waiting for liberal danbrome answer as to why he thinks Pawlenty should make a formal announcement three years before and election and didn't want to overload his pea sized brain.)

Has ObamaCare passed? How did it bypass the Senate?

J.L. Regarding the Muslim terrorist at Fort Hood and Obama saying he doesn't want to rush to judgement ... maybe he will come out and say that the cop who shot Hasan "acted stupidly."

Chris..

You are so desperate.

The stature of the U.S. has been strengthened in the world community. I'm sorry you can't see it.

Don't tell me, you don't understand the tremendous benefits of a lower dollar?

I give up.

Walter..

Are you drunk?

Governor Pawlenty is DISHONEST when he will not admit that he is considering a run for President.

It's a shame he can't be straight with the people of Minnesota.

damnbrone:

I'm surprised than you haven't been critical of RJ since he was obviously running for governor, but wanted to keep his job as Mayor for a backup. Tim if you assume he's running has the honesty of saying that he won't be in the office allowing him to be distracted of performing the job he was elected to in order to get a new job.

Barrack and a whole bunch of Senators were spending their time on the campaign trail instead of being in Washington performing their jobs.

damnbrone,

How can you say that the stature of the U.S. has been strengthened in the world "community"? Clearly you have not been paying attention to what's happened to the U.S. dollar over the last several months nor have you been paying attention to the threats of taking the valuation of oil and other commodities off of the dollar and onto another currency? If our stature is going up, why is virtually every country backing away from the dollar?

Liberal danbrome, I think Pawlenty realizes that if he wasn't in office, Democrats would have raised taxes during the worst recession since the Carter years. We've all lost hope that Democrats will ever be able to exercise fiscal restraint.

"Democrat Barack Obama announced his intention to run for President on February 10, 2007."

If Obama formally announces his intention 21 months before the election, why are you asking Pawlenty to make an announcement 36 months ahead of time?

The American people overwhelmingly elected him to ... NOT lead us down a path towards socialism. That is why his approval ratings continue to fall.

At this point in George Bushes first term, he was more than twenty points higher than Barry is now.

Governor Pawlenty could have proposed the amendment to the Minnesota constitution at any time during his term. Why didn't he? Well, it's because he knew it would not be acceptable, and that it would not work anyway.

The proposal is a stunt, clearly designed to appeal to the ever shrinking right wing of his "party". Any run for the White House would of course require their support.

Liberal danbrome, please provide evidence that Pawlenty would not accept the amendment he is proposing.

URGENT:

Obama had been running for President since he was elected to the senate in 2004. When did he formally announce his intentions?

Does anybody believe we could trust him as Commander in Chief if he can’t even be honest about his clear intentions to run? Of course not, we can't trust him anyway.

Funny how the Governor waits until he's leaving office to air proposals he himself would never accept.

URGENT:

Has anybody heard when Governor Pawlenty is going to “man up” and admit he is considering a run for President of the United States?
