MN LIBERAL BLOGGERS ATTACK THEIR OWN

Yesterday, at the newly created North Star Liberal Blog, on of their bloggers posted a racy commentary on the field of candidates for Governor. Â This commentary only included candidates on the DFL.
The worst offense was mocking the death of late Senator Paul Wellstone in their piece about Rep. Tom Rukavina.
While the owners of North Star Liberal have since taken the post down, MDE has obtained a copy of the post shown below:

Oh where to begin…
First of all, hi, I’m The Snark! I know you’ll grow to love me over time, but let me get a few ground rules out of the way.
1. I probably don’t or won’t like you. I mean really, I probably don’t think you are very smart or capable–politically speaking.
2. The Snark does not care if you are a Democrat or a Republican, see #1 for reasons why.
3. If I offend you, then you should stay out of politics and go cry in the fetal position while laying on your hemp burlap sack and wipe your tears away with your stanky dreadlocks hippie!!!
Now that we got the ground rules out of the way:
Oh Goobers, how I love to pick at thee.
Goober 1:  Tricky-Tenza — Why Matt, how I love thee and your carefully sculpted hair and George W. Bush like features, if you just whisper “Hard Work†or “Clearin Brush†with a fake Texan accent, I’ll just melt into your arms, you big genetic metamorphosis of a man you!
Goober 2:  Fatty-Mak — Anybody ever notice how MAK looks like Eric Cartmann from South Park? Seriously! Hey MAK team, try not to compete with Tom Bakk on worst photo for a web site okay? I mean you are running for governor right?
Goober 3:  Reverse-Grecian-Thissen — Hi Paul, you are soo cute! But honey you aren’t foolin anyone with your reverse-grecian, paint on the gray hair, formula for men formula. Will you post your long form birth certificate so we can see that you are way too young for this sorta thing?
Goober 4:  Raunchy-Rukavina — Hey there hot stuff! Love the pornstache! I just know you got some piping hot fight in you Raunchy-Ranger Rukavina! But seriously, this isn’t the 1970s. Magnum PI is off the air, and (can I be blunt?) I knew Paul Wellstone, and Tom, you are no Paul Wellstone–unless you mean literally and you mean that your campaign is dead and buried…hrm…that was probably too soon — much love Wellstone and family, much love!
Goober 5:  Beefy-Bakk – Just say “tax liabilities and unfunded forbearance with biennium readjustment shifts to a mean increase of one-tenth of one percent adjusted for inflation fee enhancements,†five times fast… you tax wonky hunk you… but let’s try to shelve the wonk speak okay? This is a campaign for governor not CPA. Besides, I’d rather hear you tell me about how your big beefy hands sanded wood or some other carpenter story.
Oh my, I need to stop. I’m getting too hot and bothered with these Goobers. I’ll pick more Goobers next week. Right now I need to cool off, it’s getting far too hot in here.

Another liberal hate blog?
The mockery was tastless of course, but if it was directed Republicans would “Democratic Speech Writer” Brian Falldin have fired The Snark?
(What does “Democratic speech writer” mean Brian? Is this your current occupation? Who do you work for?)
Minnesota Progessive Project rallied behind Grace Kelly when she used a Hungarian porn flick to falsely accused the United States military of being a bunch of rapists.
Twoputztommy is part of the new liberal hateblog. He has a long history of name calling and insults against Republicans and members of the military that are far worse that what The Snark wrote – yet Falldin has made him a “contributor.”
“Bloy blunder”, “Drug Limpsick”, “Governor Teabag”, “Go Cheney Yourself” … ha, ha, ha. So why is it “Fatty MAK and “Tricky-Tenza” cross the line for lefties?

Luke, back in June an anonymous commenter left a nasty message about a candidate on MDE. Flynn removed the comment shortly after.
In the days and weeks that followed, both Falldin and twoputz were demanding that MDE disclose the identity of the anonymous commenter (even though there was no comment registration at the time, and the most MDE would have been able to come up with is an IP address)
Now, given that “The Snark” is/was a part of Northstar Liberal – Falldin and putz should back up their big mouths and disclose the identity of The Snark.
We all know that Tommy is a hypocrite, but what do you say Brian. Care to practice what you preach.

The problem with this stuff is that isn’t funny. And it isn’t particularly inside either. No one who has ever met Tom Bakk comes away thinking “CPA”.

Something which of course would be said by someone who is both incredibly stupid, and extraordinarily inept politically.
