CD1 DEMOCRATIC PROSPECTS DOWNGRADED BY COOK POLITICAL REPORT

Previously, the Cook Political Report had the First Congressional District as Solid Democrat now rates the race as Likely Democrat. This is an important move as we get closer to the 2010 election. Tim Walz had been seen as surely to win re-election by national pundits, but now that is in question. We will continue to monitor these rankings in the near future.
