An MDE Exclusive yesterday posted the sketchy relationship between State Rep. Katie Knuth and the Will Steger Foundation. In the article by the Pioneer Press Bill Salisbury stated that State Rep. Jeremy Kalin was also attending the Copenhagen Conference on his own dime.
Kalin, who is paying his own way, will also go to Sweden to try to strengthen ties between some Swedish clean-technology companies and the Chisago Lakes carbon-neutral industrial complex that is being planned near Lindgren.
However, now ECM Publishers is reporting, “The cost of his trip has been partially covered by an environmental group.”
There are several questions for Rep. Kalin.
Which group is paying for Kalin’s trip?
According to a twitter reply from Rep. Kalin “A non-profit clean energy jobs foundation, and my own $$.”
Is the Will Steger Foundation paying for Kalin’s trip?
