QUESTIONS RAISED ABOUT KORY KATH’S REIMBURSEMENT CLAIMS

By Luke Hellier | December 20, 2009

DFL State Representative  Kory Kath is rumored to be a candidate for state senate in the special election for district 26.  Kath, first elected to office in 2008 is also a teacher in the Owatonna school district.

When his name first surfaced as a candidate, a document about some irregularities in per diem reimbursements was sent to me.  While I tired to reach Rep. Kath for comment on the document, my calls have gone unanswered.

The information I received is that Kath had not only requested reimbursement for his apartment but also for utilities and rental furniture.  Will these per diem expenditures have any impact on his decision to run for State Senate?

More information will come as it is available.

Supporting documentation would help your credibility by approximately 100%.
