By Luke Hellier | January 22, 2010

The advisors are Gregg Peppin, Andy Brehm, and Ben Golnik.

I have heard Emmer and Leslie Davis have the same amount of cash on hand. As a Republican who wants to actually win, might I suggest the Attorney General’s race for Mr. Emmer? Seifert’s organization, endorsements, website, radio ads and campaign are top notch.
Since Emmer stormed from the room when he lost to Seifert for Minority Leader, boycotted almost every GOP House Caucus meeting last session, voted “pass” for Speaker of the House and generally has shown lack of maturity, how can delegates take him seriously? Isn’t the Governor the titular head of the party? We need unity and Emmer has proven he can’t do it.

What is the matter with that guy? Sounds a lot like Jesse Ventura and God knows we don’t need another Jesse running this state.

I’ve met Tom Emmer. I had an excellent 1 hour conversation that would’ve gone longer with no worries about likeability.
If I were Tom, I would’ve walked out too. So what. I’d rather deal with Tom than deal with Marty or anyone else believing in anything but freedom and liberty.
Keep the compromising at home, sweethearts…

It is people like you tedboosalis that keeps conservatives from winning elections. If a candidate doesn’t agree with you 100% you sit on your hands and do nothing, including voting. I am one conservative that is tired of people like you.

Well, keep being tired of people like me because this train is moving faster than a speeding bullet. I wouldn’t step in front of it; you might find yourself blown off the track.
Next time you write that attack, look in the mirror first. You are no conservative – not even close. I love it when neo-conservatives like you think they understand freedom and liberty; that all depends if they aren’t on the government dole and receiving political benefits to subsidize their own failures.
What are you, a Federal Reservist? HAHAHAHA! Nice…
Oh… and I do vote. Maybe you should try it sometime, but I would caution to actually educate yourself prior to getting to the voting booth, that’s if you can read a map.

Thanks for proving my point tedboosalis. You have no idea where I stand on the issues. You on the other hand made it clear that you will only support someone who is “pure” in your mind. I prefer to vote for someone who can actually win and agrees with my stands on the issues most of the time. It doesn’t do the cause any good to lose an election like you seem to prefer.
Oh.. and I do vote. I also help in campaigns. I do lit drops. I stuff envelopes. I make phone calls. I put up signs for hours on end. I contribute money.
In the end I will support the endorsed candidate because anyone the party endorses is better than an Obama Democrat. I am sure that if your candidate is not endorsed you will sit at home and whine.
January 24th, 2010 at 11:59 AM
Uh huh. You started the whining with your Ventura comment. I said it didnt matter what Emmer did, I’m fine with him and I’ve met and discussed issues with him, not relied on hearsay evidence to make my opinion. You did.
No thanks to compromise – so your stance is to support ANY candidate that can win, regardless of philosophy, even if the philosophy is deeply flawed.
Huh… if that’s the case, you must’ve voted for Obama. He was the candidate who could win, based upon polling etc. Not me, and I will always feel good about my vote – one that enforces constitutional principles. Oh, that must mean the constitution doesn’t matter to you as long as somebody can win. Yuck!
I don’t sit home and whine, unlike you (see your first comment again). Sounds like you are a RINO.
Oh – I do help too. I contribute tons of money, more than I should, time, resources, you name it, I have it. So don’t lecture me on my value system and how I decide to work the circuit as much as you do.
Oh – you will see my name pop up again – very soon. The force is with me…
January 24th, 2010 at 1:29 PM
Hearsay? Sorry but I’ve heard from friends on the inside. My opinion is that Emmer is a whiner (much like you) who doesn’t have chance in November.
As I said (you sure you aren’t danbrome? you seem to have the same comprehension issues) I will vote for the endorsed candidate. You, as I said, will set at home and whine because your candidate lost. Temper tantrums do not win elections Teddy.
You on the other had said “it didnt matter what Emmer did”. That tells me that you “support ANY candidate that can win, regardless of philosophy”. From your assumptions I can then assume you voted for Obama. Are you happy with the change you got?
The problem with people like you is that you call people that don’t agree with you a “RINO”. Thats fine considering that you are a jerk who doesn’t know jack about what it takes to get elected.
You also seem to have an ego. “Oh – you will see my name pop up again – very soon”, you obviously think you are important, a legend in your own mind I’d say. From candy man to political commentator. Wow, I’m impressed…
The force is with you? You sure it isn’t just gas?
January 24th, 2010 at 1:39 PM
Emmer’s going to win… and you will find yourself on the outside looking in. Once that happens, what are you going to do, vote for the Dem? the Lib?
Oh man… You must some Dem hot to create controversy.
Marty’s delegates are one and done!
Who’s got the temper tantrums now. Look in the mirror. Only someone so hot right now, like yourself, who cannot rationalize at all, is threatened by a guy like Emmer and myself.
LOL! Too funny!
January 24th, 2010 at 1:56 PM
Wow buddy. I think the guy has some valid points. Your attacks justify what he’s saying. You’ve walked right into it, focused on 2010.
Go Emmer Go!!!

WTF?!?! all of tedboosalis (aka: candy man) posts are gone. Whats up with that?
January 24th, 2010 at 8:41 PM
I see the comments from emmerforgov2010 and tedboosalis (one and the same) have been restored.
Now for the fun…
“You must some Dem hot to create controversy”
Once again Teddy, in English. Are you sure you are here legally?
