STATEMENT FROM MICHAEL STEELE ON MIKE PARRY’S VICTORY
By Luke Hellier | January 27, 2010
WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Steele released the following statement today on Mike Parry’s election for Minnesota’s State Senate:
“On behalf of all Republicans, I congratulate Senator-Elect Mike Parry whose victory this evening is further proof that the momentum is on our side. From New Jersey to Virginia to Massachusetts, Democrats at all levels of government have shown just how out of touch they are with the American people. Mike’s victory won’t just be shared with the folks in his district, but by all Minnesotans as he heads to St. Paul to keep Democrats from raising taxes and increasing the size and role of government. Mike believes in fiscal discipline and jobs creation, and his message clearly resonated with voters tonight. It’s a message that Republicans throughout Minnesota will echo this fall as we work to elect folks who believe that taxpayer dollars belong in the hands of the taxpayers.”

How does a republican winning a seat held by a republican for nearly two decades constitute momentum?
I’ll give you that you may not be bleeding anymore, but to suggest that a seat staying republican indicates strength is simply laughable.

What’s more laughable is anyone who thought bringing in Franken* would help Engbrecht.
Franken* and Obama – dead weight around the candidate’s neck.

In other news, have anyone of you received Michael Steele’s FAKE CONGRESSIONAL CENSUS mailing? I received one by accident and laughed my ass off. On the outside on the envelope reads…OFFICIAL DOCUMENT! DO NOT DESTROY!
It’s nothing more than a gimmick to solicit donations to the RNC. Michael Steele should have known better than to try this scheme. He is in hot water and the Census Bureau has reason to file a complaint.
