BREAKING: LIT DROP HITS COMPETITIVE SENATE DISTRICT

By Luke Hellier | February 9, 2010

A dedicated reader sent me the following lit piece that hit the ground today in State Senator Lisa Fobbe’s district.  The lit piece highlights the extremely pork filled bonding bill put forth by the DFL.

This is the same type of bonding bill that gave us Otremba’s Dock to No Where.

MDE is checking to see if the lit piece arrived in any other districts.

The DFL led Senate is taking up their $1 billion bonding bill today.

Check back to MDE for more on this developing story.

Is the reference here to the bonding bill? Where the state every two years borrows money for long term projects that it pays back while maintaining a high credit rating?

In my opinion, this piece is a colossal waste of money!! It loses all of its effectiveness due to 9 Republican members of the Senate voting for this bloated debt bill (including the Minority Leader). We will see how they all vote after Pawlenty dumps the whole thing.
